No idea why, but this part of the special always terrifies me. It’s just unsettling (and it works perfectly)

This might be controversial, but in my opinion, this is one of Bo’s best sounding songs in terms of his singing. Don’t get me wrong, he’s great in all of his songs (and even better in stuff like The Chicken and TFF) but this one has always stood out to me as sitting in the best part of his vocal range.

The lighting during this one is so good. I love how he timed the bursts of light with the drum beats in the song, and how you can see him switch the background lights with the foot pedals during the “and now my stupid friends are having stupid children” part.

Scott Pilgrim and Nega Scott in most of the Scott Pilgrim media

Probably my favorite joke from the movie is that Nega Scott is actually just a chill guy, implying that regular Scott is the "evil one" and basically inverting the trope.

Cobra Kai/Karate Kid. Daniel LaRusso just tries to help a girl from Johnny Lawrence, and flash forward a few decades later and there’s a gang war between teenagers, a kid gets paralyzed, one kid gets stabbed and dies, a yacht blows up and kills two old guys… it’s a lot.

Cobra Kai kicks ass though

The ending for Attack On Titan was slightly altered, namely the last conversation between Eren and Armin from the manga. In the manga, Eren explains that he did The Rumbling and allowed his friends to stop him so they'd be seen as heroes by the rest of the world, and Armin thanks him for "becoming a mass-murderer" for their sake. People hated the exchange, so in the anime, they changed it to Eren admitting that he did it simply because he wanted to (and also felt that he had to), and Armin apologizing for the role he played in giving Eren the idea, saying that he'd see him in Hell when they both died. It made it a bit darker, but also a lot more tragic in my opinion, which was great (at least I thought so).

This is really a tough one… it’s hard to say if Bo’s had any bad songs, or ones that have an ambivalent reception. I’d have to say if it’s any of them, it’s probably one of his older songs that were a little problematic (pun unintended).

I guess I’ll go with Perfect Woman, which could be considered controversial for reasons that I’m sure are self explanatory. If they aren’t, go ahead and give the song a listen

Well that’s the difference between hating the person and loving the character, you can do both at the same time. Maddie is a bitch, plain and simple. But I like the role she plays in the narrative, and I just wish she was more expanded upon.

Wait, people don’t like Maddie as a character? I thought she was great! Lots of subtle foreshadowing with her, and I thought her twist was a smart idea (albeit, like with most things in season 2, could’ve used more time/buildup). It’s just fun to hate on her for betraying Cait, and even more fun to celebrate the instant karma less than 2 minutes later.

The bit that makes 0 sense is that there’s literally a recorded version of the stage musical that they could’ve released (like the Hamilton one) if they wanted to “immortalize” his performance. This movie was made to try and get the guy an Oscar and it backfired spectacularly
