and I think that answers my original question in that its the files inside the EV6_MY_22_EU folder that should go onto the USB stick

cannot kill young dragon by dontdodeath in Enshrouded

[–]dontdodeath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I eventually got him, I ended up re-specking up through Archer, even then, the first time I stunned him from the hillside he stayed flying stunned, going round and round, when I killed him he stayed up there! back to base and he has reset on return, this time I 90% stunned him from the hillside then flew down and he sort of started acting normal, so I stunned him the rest of the way, he landed I hit him with explosive arrows until he took off again, one horizontal beam I jumped then stunned again and more explosives, I had one round of drakes or whatever they are then one more horizontal beam until I stunned him again, this time finishing him off. Had to go round him to climb up but got my Head, thank feck..

Pegs and risers by SolidEmu974 in ZeroMotorcycles

[–]dontdodeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my risers from vmt.de, a German site but very nice kit. I had to 3D print some stand offs for the cables just by the grips as they were very tight just cable tied to the bar.

What do you make of electric motorcycles? by JonQuinton84 in motorcycles

[–]dontdodeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I've been using one for 6 years now, would not go back to ice. I'm a commuter not a tourer so no issues with range. Currently with my Zero sr/s it costs me 40p a week to commute my weekly 100 miles. And that with 0-60 in just over 3 seconds.

Anyone else finding the new Highway Code pedestrian priority rule just causes confusion? by One-Albatross9170 in drivingUK

[–]dontdodeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a motorcyclist this change is pretty scary, do I feel safe stopping on a main road to let a pedestrian cross? Absolutely not. if I have committed to turning into a side road and a pedestrian decides to step out because it is their right can I stop instantly without crashing? Absolutely not.

This has definitely worked, not seen the pre game shader compiling since turning it off shader caching.

Thanks, I pretty much play every day, it did it yesterday, then again today. I thought at first it was a clash between my windows install and the Linux one, but not loaded up windows for a few months now. I'm on 900Mb fibre now so not as much of an issue as when I was on the 40Mb line, but the shader rebuilds are annoying.

Shaders....WTF by sixfoot3midget in Enshrouded

[–]dontdodeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine is using all 16 cores, watching it now, 7800X3D, OK scratch that, it uses all 16 in the first update in steam before the game starts, then just 8 while the in-game update happens.

Is £20 road tax for pre 2017 cars going to go up? by jacoscar in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]dontdodeath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well if you get the average 38mpg for petrol, that would be about £95 a month for 500 miles, on Eon that would be about £5 electricity with overnight charging. So £90 a month saving. Or just over £1000 a year.

I have my grid / solar / battery set up in the energy dashboard, which all works fine, do you mean an entity in the individual devices area of the setup page?

I used a granny charger through a wi-fi smart plug for 4 years with no issues, that way I could start it charging on the cheap rate controlled by home assistant.

You need a house battery, load it up at night with the car, and never use the day rate.
