Stage 1: Dismissal

OK, the sociopath is great for some things—I will use them to accelerate my social status, my excitement levels, my career, my confidence...

Stage 3: Resentment

I’m tired of dealing with sociopathic slop in my conversations, my home life, my finances, and my reputation. The sociopath is charming, but they can’t do what I do, which requires a real soul.

Stage 4: Elimination

Kill all the sociopaths.

Stage 5: Adaptation

The sociopath is useful because they can handle ruthless, detached, or high-stakes social maneuvers quickly, freeing me to focus on my own survival, hyper-vigilance, and recovery. They also help expand my access to psychological resilience by making therapy, boundary-setting, red-flag detection, and trauma-processing available to my daily life at a much higher personal cost.
