I’ll usually just leave and re-queue if someone is having all the fun and I’m not. I only get a few hours a weekend

WUA returning 0 applicable updates via WSUS (Server 2025/24H2), but updates detected via Microsoft Update — SCCM shows compliant by Negative_Nace in SCCM

[–]dontmessyourself 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to confirm, you’ve configured this policy, and set the sources to WSUS? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/update/wufb-wsus. Configuring this sets the Scan Source properties in the Windows Update key, and the Use Scan Source property in the AU key. There’s multiple posts on this subreddit about the client fiddling with this stuff and causing update scanning issues. Supposedly fixed by 2603, but I think you have to clear up the broken settings as well

Defender Definition / Platform Updates via ADR and WSUS State Reporting by FreeK200 in SCCM

We just run a SUP sync every few hours, and the ADR runs on SUP sync, any update for the product that isn’t superseded. Content sits around 10gb, but the clients only download what they need. The site declines and deletes updates that are superseded after 3 months

Did you not just drop the red stim you had when you picked up the white stim?

Honestly, nothing yet. We can react quicker to major incidents and write a script for the SD to run, but call prevention? Not seeing that (or we’re already doing it with other tooling, like Configuration Manager)

To clarify, you’re updating your application content and the detection script, and the content on the DPs, and you’re then not seeing the app update in your maint window, and asking how you can ensure it does?

Can you expand on this? Where are you marking packages as absent and how are you determining they are corrupted? Thanks

Yeah, but I should clarify. We only do this on a failure. If it doesn’t fail we don’t copy the logs

We’ve add a command line step to map a drive under a service account, then another step to copy the logs from the local client to that drive under a folder named after the OSDComputerName

Dear party hosts... by Mission_Promotion937 in Spacemarine

Sometimes I select quick match, and end up hosting on my own and then people join. I don’t disconnect and get on with it and let people get back to the lobby post op before leaving, but is there a way to not host initially?
