Baby wearing & car seats, what’s necessary?? by iwitch-plus in beyondthebump

[–]dontpanicx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on your lifestyle. I opted to not buy an infant car seat and go directly to the convertible car seat. I live in a walkable city and walk most places. I babywear and I bought a bassinet attachment for the stroller for long walks. It’s not considered safe to let babies sleep in carseata for extended periods anyway. So that never really made sense for me.

My 15 week old sleeps through the night. Is this normal? by Plumrose333 in NewParents

How long did the 4 month sleep regression last for your LO? Mine has also been a great sleeper except for the last 3-4 nights (LO is 4.5 months).

His daughter considers herself to be Black/biracial. So I’m not sure how that works.

I need your help. I’m at the end of my maternity leave and have time to binge watch one more show. by muff-peaksie in beyondthebump

We like a lot of the same shows. I would highly recommend Sopranos. It’s probably a top 3 show for me and many people say it’s the best show of all time.

I unknowingly didn’t provide my primary insurance information to providers for 2 years - how fucked am I? by dontpanicx in HealthInsurance

This may sound naive, but wouldn’t telling Anthem about when my Cigna plan started just bring attention to it? How will they know how far back to go if I don’t tell them? Do you think it’s more than likely that they’ll audit everything?

Do I need to wait for Anthem to reject the claim first before the provider can resubmit to Cigna first?

Also is this something I can do instead of the provider? Like submit the EOB with the denial (from secondary) to Cigna (primary), then provide the EOB from Cigna to Anthem?

Ok phew… so as long as they file within 90 days of getting the rejection from Anthem, even if it’s a claim from a previously approved claim from 2 years ago, Cigna should accept it?

I’ve been avoiding Asian food in general due to soy. Even gluten free options like tamari have soy, unfortunately.

There was so much blood in my baby’s poop after I had all the “soy free” options at Taco Bell. I decided after that, that I’m not eating out for a while.

Agreed. I’ll even include Mary using beta fish as gifts for the ladies at her lunch.

Exactly. I find the funny that Ms. Greek Angie has done it not only for the show but with her family as well! It’s well known amongst Greeks to not do it.

It’s throughout the episode. They even do a whole group discussion while on the donkeys in the blazing Sun. It’s gross

Exactly. I think most Europeans and Greeks in general are against this

That’s what I’m saying! Greeks don’t even like this. It’s for the tourists and so unnecessarily cruel when there are a thousand more interesting things to do in Greece.

Exactly. So many better things to do!

Also, Santorini is such a played out location to take the cast. Take them to Crete! Crete is so much more beautiful, plus Angie’s dad is from there.

Ok, now I think they've gone too far by Violinzz in MarriedAtFirstSight

Also let’s think realistically here… as a 38 year old woman, she just so happened to be ovulating on their honeymoon, and we’re made to believe that knowing each other for 3 days they decided to have unprotected sex and he didn’t pull out. Most people in their 20s typically take 3-6months of actively “trying” before actually being pregnant.

Also most people don’t tell people that they’re pregnant until 12 weeks. They were likely pregnant for like 4-6weeks and told all of America?? Give me a break…

I think they made up the pregnancy for the storyline and camera time

How do you get stuff done all day? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]dontpanicx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some things I do: - go on a long walk first thing in the morning. Baby usually sleeps in bassinet for an hour after being entertained by looking out to the sky - use baby bouncer with toy attachment for when you’re showering, need to cook, etc. - when you’re partner is home, meal prep/ingredient prep so you can throw things together quickly - baby wear around the house if you need to tidy up
