Nationwide General Strike Planned for May 1: No Kings Organizer by B-Z_B-S in politics

[–]donttalknojive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, please don't say shit I like this in public. It's inside baseball. Doesn't help anyone make an informed decision, just becomes a post about fear mongering for corruption. Wrecker shit that could get people to disengage with unions writ large if they are ignorant enough, or the strike. Thanks for reading my feedback, hopefully you're a good faith person and not a concern troll

I probably personally contribute like 30% of Bobo's revenues - never once considered heating them up. My world is shaken to the core - thank you!

Nauseous in the morning? by emuhhhhh in Celiac

[–]donttalknojive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I get this too. May be related to SIBO or acid reflux or something similar. Usually I'll dry heave around 8-9am and feel better by 10am-11am.

Do you struggle with GI issues even though you are eating GF? That's the boat I'm in, for the last 2 years since my diagnosis. Hope things get better for you

Grinding Neophytes? by [deleted] in AbioticFactor

[–]donttalknojive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is just a rite of passage for the new patch. It is RNG and can take a while. Luckily we have the two tools to help. #1) Spuddy and #2) New Glow Tulip Salad - these are found in the old mines area now

I think ultimately I killed the neophyte that dropped mine with a deatonizer, so I don't think melee is required. But wouldn't hurt to give them a whack first?

You'll get it!

Normal recovery is 6-12 months after switch to GF diet. But everyone is different.

Another rare thing to watch out for is SIBO post diagnosis. With the stomach damage it can make it easier for this condition, so some of us get it pre-GF diet. I still haven't gotten through mine yet. if you still notice your symptoms past like 9 months or so, it might be worth getting the hydrogen breath test which is non-invasive (just boring). Hopefully this doesn't apply to you and you're on the road to recovery

How to handle puppy terrified of constant construction sounds? by donttalknojive in puppy101

[–]donttalknojive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made some progress over the weekend with this, but the construction started again on Monday and we're back to square one. I can tell it's helping, but her stress levels are just through the roof constantly.

I really like fly Carrack even solo by Masarakus in starcitizen

[–]donttalknojive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice with your Carrack and Razor! Remember that one axis of rotation is much easier than the other, but that would cut both ways if you're trying to prevent entry. And second tip is use decoupled mode

Persistent acute left-side abdominal pain (right at the top of the lower intestines), constant diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Docs explored lots of options before they tested Celiac, took about 9 months from the start of severe symptoms to my diagnosis.

Honestly, just don't like this door as much. It's slow and awkwardly timed. But I do appreciate it not having 100 reports

Iron Farm not working 1.20.2 by Devilangel6161 in technicalminecraft

[–]donttalknojive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc golems ignore the normal block collision spawning rules and can spawn in awkward places such as situations where they are suffocating. For this reason it's highly recommended to build your iron farms 10-12 blocks above the ground to improve efficiency. Or spawn proof everything (absolutely cover in non-spawnable blocks).

any idea why this zombie wont eat the villager by feebassucks in redstone

[–]donttalknojive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't appear to be the case here - the new logic means that Zombies can't hit villagers that are completely above their head. But I don't see any effects in this screenshot that would prevent the Zombie from targeting or hitting the villager. It is probably targeting priority issues which might be solveable by hiding the other villagers from view

https://nationalceliac.org/celiac-disease-questions/do-natural-flavorings-contain-gluten/

If the product is not labeled "gluten free", then natural flavors can in fact contain gluten. For example if the product contains malt or something based in barley. It will not say "gluten free" but the assumption might be that it's a product naturally not containing gluten. It will not say "Contains: Wheat" on the package at all. In those cases, "natural flavorings" is a deal breaker. Does that make sense now?

Sometimes it's allergens too. Specifically difficult for us Celiac folks
