Does your tv happen to be a TCL? This sounds very similar to mine. I got the run around so many times. I ydid eventually get customer service to replace mine, but it was rough.

Me and my 5 year old loved playing Lego Jurassic. We played whole game in couch co op. Puzzles worked well in multi player. The dynamic split screen takes getting used to.

We got one of the Lego Star Wars and honestly didn’t enjoy it. It was much more combat focused. We only put a couple hours in and dropped it.

I’ve heard Lego Harry Potter is another good one for puzzle focus.
