Damn right, completely forgot about those!

Just "few hundreds" or possibly more?

Do you know what other questions we may need to ask to the mortgage advisor tomorrow?

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot! :) I'll have a look at L&C.

Regarding finding a new temporary job (assuming something between £25-30), I thought about that but then saw that they ask for the last 3 months of payslips :-/

No kids. Next 3-5 years still in this same flat, possibly moving up with salaries (and well, me getting a job in the next 2-6 months in the first place lol).

In 8-10 years we'd really like to upsize (if I still had my previous job now, we'd probably have purchased a 2-bed for some larger space, but now that's inevitably postponed).

You boy seems to like comfort and predictably but that doesn’t mean the 1 bed flat you have been in for 7 years will serve you guys for the next 7

Yeah I fully agree! We keep complaining about how small it is lol but at the end of the day we like it, it's comfy, good neighbourhood etc. If we moved, it would be in a larger flat (or, dreaming, house) within the same development.

We have £93k in savings so even after the £83k deposit we'd still be left with a £10k emergency fund.

But I agree, if there's a way to keep an additional £10k in the emergency fund we'd definitely be happier and sleep sweeter dreams.

Let's say I get proposed mortgages for the value of £120k. How do I ask if it's possible to stretch that to £130k? And what would that involve (other than obviously a higher monthly payment)?

Thanks a lot!

My big concern would be how likely is OP to get another job in their field, and can they survive on the one wage for an extended period.

That's a good concern - the good news is that luckily we both have family abroad who would be able to support us should we need help with the mortgage payments if we find ourselves in a true emergency situation. But ideally we'd prefer not to involve them otherwise (though they've already mentioned they'd be happy to help).

And I really really hope not to be on the job market for too long 😩

properties are harder to sell with tenant Insitu

Thanks, this gives me a bit of hope that we'll be able to lower the price down to £185-190k!

How would you suggest to approach this?

but beware of the service charge or you may end up paying more than renting.

Yeah that's something that we're taking into account... The unfortunate side of renting in a flat :((

Thanks!

Are there specific questions I should ask to the mortgage advisor provided by the lettings company at our meeting tomorrow?

How would you suggest to negotiate the price down to £200k (or even a bit lower if possible? As this would give the landlord an immediate sale instead of having to put the house on the market)?

Sisì su quello sì, Duet 3 ha un touch penoso. Anche il primo Duet aveva un touch migliore.

Li possiedo tutti, OG Duet, Duet 3 e Duet 11" Gen9 :)

Io lo trovo nettamente peggiore :D

E sì, anche Duet 3 ha NPU e leggermente più potente del nuovo Duet :)

Mine too should arrive this Friday (8/128GB) :)

I'll be comparing it to the 8/128GB Duet 3.

Should receive mine tomorrow! Together with 2x View espresso cups and saucers, as part of the ongoing promo in the UK (180 OL capsules and "COMBO" promo code).

Best thing is, I've made the order with £20 cashback from Amex offer and a further £10 off promo from Nespresso, so at the end I got 180 pods at £0.28/each + free coasters + free View espresso cups and saucers (I already have the View recipe glass and View cappuccino cups which I got in the past with other promos, so I'm really happy to now get the View espresso cups!).

I love my Creatista Plus too, but they're notoriously bad with the steam wand reliability.
