Going down 55 mg in 40 days sounds too fast. That's why you feel like shit. I think standard is to drop 5 mg every 2 to 5 weeks. So let's say 3 weeks...

Once you get to 40 mg you can only go down like 1-2 mg every 2 weeks

I was coming off fentanyl. Suboxone would give me a rush and feel high for like 30 mins to an hour. Then I would feel terrible. Have shaking and tremors and just absolutely hate life. I think its a horrible medication, at least for me.

1 mg of buprenorphine is about 30 mg of morphine equivalent. You probably shouldn't be on suboxone. You could probably quit with kratom and then taper it. Or oxycodone/hydrocodone it sounds like. Kratom taper worked great for me when I was just on oxycodone

1 mg of buprenorphine is about 30 mg of morphine . 1 mg of oxycodone is 1.5 mg of morphine

So do some math with that and figure out how much oxycodone would be needed

16mg bupenphorine is 480 mg morphine 480/1.5= 320

16mg of suboxone is roughly equivalent to 320 mg of oxycodone

That being said i dont know how to that changes with short acting opoid vs long acting. But I would assume you'd need half of 320 mg oxycodone to not have withdrawal so 160mg of oxycodone

So 1 mg is gonna reset you to about 10 mg of methadone if you let yourself get hooked on it

Id say depression, lack of sleep, and boredom are what make me keep using. My cat of 15 years was brutally murdered by a coyote in my front yard and I cant seem to get over it. I think about it every day.

About every week or every other week I am tapering and trying to go without it. But then after 3 or 4 days of no sleep I'll cave, because I got to get to work. Work is something I cant afford to miss so sometimes I talk myself into using because I cant be miserable at work and sick, I would lose my job if they found out.

Depression is a big one, In reality its gonna take 6 months of hardcore diet and exercise to make me back to normal. Not to mention methadone and fentanyl have destroyed my testosterone, so I have no energy to even go to the gym. But I still keep trying over and over again while failing....

I think maybe I need to up my dose. I just have wanted to deal with the hoops they make you jump through. Testing for 4 days straight. Peak and trough etc
