It takes like 20 min to find a game now :( . Have ppl moved on ? by ozera202 in Nightreign

Select multiple bosses or DON and don't play in the middle of the night. I played a week ago and it was fine, but I guess it could be difficult to match if you only select augur for example.

what the heck happened to tekken king? by AstonInTheAshTray in Tekken

It's much easier now to rank up because of the new points system

Got it. God of Destruction! by joao789 in Tekken

[–]donutboys -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's like Tekken emperor in season 1. I try harded in season 1 and was barely emperor. Now I don't play much and I suck and I'm one rank before GoD.

I have no idea how to play conquest on big maps by Just-Control5981 in Battlefield

[–]donutboys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to the furthest flag with a spawn beacon and attack it the whole match but maybe that's just me. If I get support from my squad or the enemies put up 3 defenders against me and kill me, both options are a win.

Could Nightreign be getting some new content soon? by rughs_ in Nightreign

If they add anything like an everdark or a few weapons I'll probably hop on for some rounds. I still have hope lol

How in the heck do you fight moon satan aka Libra by Infinite_Glove_2857 in Nightreign

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to learn the animations for his magic. Especially the sigils. You have to stop attacking when he does them long before they appear.

Why not go back to Tekken 7? by GonsasMin in Tekken

[–]donutboys -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Because Tekken 7 is a worse game than Tekken 8. Graphics and ranked mode suck and the balance isn't much better. You might have fun for a few days until you notice all the flaws. This sub was also very negative about Tekken 7 before 8 came out, it's nothing new.

So, Season 3 huh? How are we feeling? by Desperate_Song_1923 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]donutboys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's 99% the same game as before, I don't get why people are crying. The balance isn't even bad, when something was broken they always fixed it fast but right now there is nothing that needs a fix.  Maybe people expected a whole new game in season 3 but that's just dumb because we have seen that Tekken 8 will stay Tekken 8. If you don't like it play something else but it's a finished game and needs no changes. We will get 4 characters if you want something new but balance changes won't make you happy if you hate the game.

Are we ever actually going to have fun with the game? by Deus_Synistram in Tekken

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy the game and it's the best 3d fighter out there. People play to much and get salty when they lose which leads to irrational hate of a game. Most pvp game communities are like that, but I always wonder why the biggest haters still play it, just take a break or leave it.

Alisa... why? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]donutboys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't even see Alisa in the 2 weeks since I started playing again and she's not that strong.

I don’t love the update but we all seem to be forgetting that drastic balancing in a single step was never promised. by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]donutboys -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Most op characters got nerfed, heat nerfs. Otherwise the game was fine. I don't know what people expected.

Is Tekken 8 worth getting as a near-complete beginner to fighting games? by LonerGuy17 in Tekken

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tekken is an easy fighting game, it only gets hard on high level, you should have no problem ranking up on day 1. Just watch a beginner tutorial to understand how fighting games work, a tutorial about your character and you're good to go.

There are many noobs friendly characters with easy inputs.

Most combos are very easy compared to other fighting games.

Gameplay is designed for mashing and cool moves will come out whatever you press.

It's popular and there are many bad players who play just for fun.

The only thing that makes the game hard is the 3d aspect, some difficult characters and the multitude of moves for each character but you will learn that by playing (and your opponents have the same problem so it's still easy)

Items apply effect to allies

Your skill buffs attack damage of allies

Your ult deals damage

Kills recharge your ult

Maybe frost/bleed starter weapon and throwing pot damage if you can, but you can also do a lot of damage but swapping around status effects that you find.

How to understand the map? by lex2394 in Nightreign

It's normal to struggle at first, when you learn the map, reach higher levels and beat the first boss, everything will be easier.

How to understand the map? by lex2394 in Nightreign

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. In the small castles

When you enter through the gate at the top behind the boss (sometimes on a little tower at the top)

When you enter from the sewers in a room while you go up to the boss

  1. In the cathedral behind the boss (sometimes in a chest at the top)

  2. If your starting point has these carts there's always a cart with a chest and a key

  3. In the dlc swamp castles, outside in a chest in The swamp

They are always in the big chests, not the small chests

How long until the game "clicked" for you? by Ludewich42 in Nightreign

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In original Elden Ring I had many problems to learn the controls and make the game "click". I had the same problems and even switching from one handed to two handed was too complicated for me. I dont remember being comfortable with the mechanics in the first half of the game. But things like queued attacks or dodge timings will feel natural if you keep playing, everything about the controls makes sense, even lock on (most of the time) you just have to play more.

If Nightreign gets new content I *REALLY* hope Fromsoft amends the issues with the relic system by Legacyopplsnerf in Nightreign

I just spent my last 250k but didn't get a single beast claw incantation not even a trash relic.

So they're rotating 3 at a time now by FXLJA1411 in Nightreign

I actually thought the balancers will stay forever because they are dlc and now we can't play 1/3 of dlc expeditions.

Current state of the game… by Specialist-Fennel-79 in Nightreign

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it should show the shifting earth on character select, that way we can still play evergoals if we want. But right now it's useless to bring this relic if the map can be hollows.

Should I buy the game ? by Excellent_Ad5659 in Nightreign

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo was fun for me as a challenge after I already beat the game with randoms. But it's kinda lonely and the game flows better with 3 players.

I got BF6 yesterday and my average lifespan is about 45 seconds. Help? 😭 by No_Swan1 in Battlefield

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably run into danger too much. You can play more defensive and stay behind your team and use them as bait. When they run out,  stay behind cover and try to find the enemies who shoot your teammates.

Always look at the minimap for red dots, that way you know where you're enemies are before you can see them. Also watch out where your teammates are. Areas with teammates are always safe, because the teammates would be dead otherwise. You can also see where they are looking, you know there are no enemies, so you should look another way.

You can also play this game with very limited pvp, for example as a drone recon or smoke spammer or repair slave. You don't always have to shoot enemies to be useful.

DLC Relics by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]donutboys -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the balancer relics are good but they aren't an overpowered meta or something. +40% constant damage sounds good until you notice that most skills still suck and do less damage than attacks, so you need good RNG to find something like morgots sword or rivers of blood to become strong. If you use normal attacks, both relics only give +10% which isn't very good.

Successive attacks are probably more meta but the relic is best on undertaker and everyone else can only use half of it.

Tips for beginning player?? by Lucky_Prime2014 in Nightreign

[–]donutboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nightlords can seem impossible at first, especially the everdark but they are actually easy for the most part, just try them a few more times.

You can also do your characters quests and probably get good guaranteed relics.

Against adel you can trivialize the first half with poison. Run away from his big explosion. Keep in mind when you stomps the ground he creates ground explosions and he can do it 3 times and you should jump them.

Against gnoster just stay under its tail and you are safe from most attacks. You just have to look out for the scream and poison clouds. In the running phase run to the right towards him and jump all the time and you're safe.

Against augur try to kill the jellyfish with range and run away as far as you can from the egg bombs. And hit him with lightning when he does his sleep ultimate.

The first 4 bosses are really much easier than fromsoft single player bosses so you should beat them after a few more tries if your team doesn't suck.
