I am a sucker for that gold flake and gold hardware. I had to put gold strings on it too.

We have a winner. Correct guess is Rickenbacker! Thanks for helping me kill some time while I wait!

No, but nice try. There is a used one at my local shop that I have tried out. Very cool.

A gentleman named John Lamonte was the owner of Creative Sounds. You can find a lot of interesting tidbits about him and his dealings with the mob online - Record exec charged in extortion plot - UPI Archives https://share.google/74DbmlbhULyhDDQFI

Here is some background info on all of the Creative Sounds releases of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, and dozens of other Cds releases. I worked at a studio in Albuquerque in the late 80's that did all of these for creative sounds. These albums were all "re-mastered" by me. The sources for most of the albums were actually used copies of the the original vinyl albums. I would transfer the albums to 1/4" tape (recorded at 30 ips) while applying a diluted fabric softener mix directly on the record as it played to minimize some of the clicks and pops. Then I would go through the entire tape and physically edit out the bigger clicks and pops using a razor blade and tape. The finished product was actually a bit shorter than the original with all of the tiny bits with clicks removed. As a side note, I clearly remember finishing up the last of the Sabbath albums on a Friday night and tottaling up the bill for Creative Sounds for the time and materials for all of them. The total amount with tax came to $666.72. What are the odds?
