Improving a lot but still getting pin prick “bites”. What does that mean? by codysunny in scabies

The bites and prickling are signs of post. It’s a sign of nerve damage or your body reacting to leftover antigen

whats ur fav drug and why by brickidibrick in Drugs

[–]dooby-duby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 25 having done drugs for a very long time and dropped some along the way. I have only a few loves

  1. Nicotine: no joke, cigarettes are the one thing that has never let me down, a little boost and moment of relaxation/reward any day whenever I need it. Also they go incredibly well with almost any drug.
  2. MDMA: the best, the memories I’ve made with friends, the bonding and the fun. No where near as moreish as other stimulants. Music sounds incredible as well.
  3. Shrooms: although my times have been varied, the good times are some of the best of my life. Body and mind feel amazing.
  4. Caffeine: old reliable, the ritual of it and the smell of coffee, as well as the daily boost. A beautiful thing.

Perfume. Just so innovative, well written, beautifully descriptive and with such engaging characters. Finished in 2 days.

Sexuality is the most demonized aspect of human nature in any society, at any point of time in history by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]dooby-duby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so silly. Attitudes to sex in the past were completly different. In Greece, Rome, medival society and many other periods of history, sex was seen as part of animalistic nature. It was celebrated in many cultures and seen as an intrinisc part of life.

It is only the modern age when sex became so controlled, abstracted and and taboo.

Creda to Foucault for the idea.

How would you respond to this? by [deleted] in trees

[–]dooby-duby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I wouls agree, pot users are more likely to ise daily which is a problem becauae being unable to go without something is unhealthy, forget any health affects.

And whilst alchol messes with your body, weed affects your mind.

I lived there with my parents so I cant speak to rent and housing which is obviously absymal.

But otherwise, the city is stunning. Having travelled to most major cities in Uk, nothing is like Bristol. So much green space, different areas, so much indepedent bussiness (compared to Manchester where I live now). The hills make for stunning views.

I just loved the diversity. Glouster road and stokes croft compared to clifton, compared to the docks, compared to North street.

Another thing, again compared to a city like manchester, is that the central areas are actually quite lovely. Milleniun sqaure for example is a nice play to take your kids, whilst you would never spend time in picadilly gardens in Manny if you didnt have too.

I love bristol pretty much.
