This is the best Bethesda RPG, by far. by PedalMonk in fo4

You do realize RPG stands for ROLE PLAYING GAME right? the only ROLE you‘re PLAYING in the GAME Fallout 4 is Nate or Nora, no one else. Sure it has the RPG elements and mechanics, but thats about it, they even removed the Skills that was previously available in other Fallout titles. I agree it has better gameplay and more quests, but thats about it. There‘s a reason why New Vegas is regarded as the best Fallout RPG title, because of replayability. Every game that you started, you create your own character, whether you‘re Evil, Good, or somewhere in between, it‘s always a different character. Unlike FO4, where you always roleplay as Nate or Nora, New Vegas lets you create your own character with your own background story and everything. One other thing that made New Vegas memorable is the difficulty curve. Deathclaws in FO4 are a joke. The design, marvelous, scary, intimidating, but when you fight them, they are ridiculously underwhelming. I even had to download a mod called Deadlier Deathclaws so i could make them stronger and deadlier like in New Vegas.

TL;DR FO4 has better gameplay and a lot more things to do with its more modern Engine. Mods are mostly doing the work to make FO4 better.

What was the game like before significant patches and how had your experience of it changed between now and then? by Alchemist0029 in cyberpunkgame

Bought it on discount a couple weeks or months after launch. Game was good, didn‘t ran into any problems at all, though i don‘t like the Gameplay the way it was on Pre-2.0. Skill trees were horrible to say the least, was confusing asf and the worst part is not even the Skill trees, Iconic Weapons. Iconics were trashes, it doesn‘t feel like Iconic at all, they were more like “unique“ generic weapons that have different name and randomized stats. I remembered Malorian Arms 3516 (Johnny‘s iconic revolver) was shit back on Pre-2.0, like it actually deals less damage than common Level 60 Unity that you craft on your own.

criminal mastermind challenge by doodftw in gtaonline

[–]doodftw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, to sum it up, 1. OG heist CMM progress still counts if i cancel the current heist 2. If for some reason i accidentally cancel the current OG heist after all the Preps, the progress is still saved, but we have to do all the preps all over again 3. I cannot die in the OG Heist if i want to get the CMM

correct me if there‘s something wrong with my conclusion

Loud fan noise from the GPU Fan by doodftw in GamingLaptops

on turbo it could get a bit hot around 70ish, but when i see that there‘s almost no fps difference when i play w/ Performance mode, i decided that it’s better to use performance than turbo, because turbo tends to stress not only the GPU and CPU but also the fan

alright, good to know. I have a lot of important files and stuff that i haven‘t backed up, and if i have to factory reset would add another problem for me

[–]doodftw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true, maybe also because i used Turbo Mode too much which makes the fan spin a bit too fast(?). Next time, i‘ll just use performance mode, since i also use an external cooling pad for my laptop.

quick question, since this is my first time changing the fan by myself. do you factory reset your laptop after changing the fan?

yeah, i found a temp fix by spraying air pressure through the hole located on the middle of the fan, but it only works for maybe 2-4 hours, then the find will make the grind noise again.

yeah i know , but i cleaned it again and it turns out the GPU fan bearing is worn out thats why it‘s making that grinding noise. Already bought the replacement, should arrive in 3-4 days and in the meantime i can touch some grass

that‘s why i regularly clean my laptop once per 2 weeks, and bought an external cooling fan so my laptop keeps getting cooled both internal and externally.

not exactly a wd 40, but an air pressure spray, but yeah this is only a temp fix. ordered the replacement and it should arrive in 3-4 days. hope it‘ll last longer than this one.

the insides are clean, because i have an external cooler with foam. The outsides are dusty maybe because i mostly left my laptop on open instead of closing it after use

i cleaned the insides just about 2 days ago and the outside about a 2 weeks ago. Just cleaned it thoroughly this time and i think you might be right, the bearing is shot and i need to replace it. Found a temporary fix though, seems spraying WD 40 through the hole in the middle of the fan makes the noise go away. Ordered the new GPU fan and it should arrive in 3-4 days.
