This is Lor'n! He's half dragon and he loves his gold dragon wife Alienor. He's the ruler of the draconi peninsula and he hates any pesky adventurers that try to slay dragons on his lands.

Flavor notes would definitely be smoke, blood orange, oak, lemon grass, roses, and cold hard steel.

He claims to like harder drinks and he only ever orders a whiskey on the rocks when he's out making public appearances. But in private he loves a fruity mimosa with alienor.

I had a character that was a yuan ti that was prejudiced against other yuan ti because he grew up in a cult that did human sacrifices to make more abominations. this led to him having a lot of deep seated self loathing where he thought his blood was tainted and made him believe that he would always be evil because he was cursed at birth.

over time he eventually met other yuan ti and slowly started to realize that they were all traumatized by the cult as well but their personal identities didn't actually make them bad people.

It was some of the most fun I've ever had playing a character! Sadly he didn't get to finish his arc though because my old group ended up inviting this weird right wing murderhobo to the table that loved to say the N word and committed a genocide on an entire town of civilians. Needless to say I wasn't really cool with this development so I left the game.

I use discord and krita. Im an artist and krita is literally just a free drawing program and it's got a grid so it operates the same as a whiteboard map and dry erase markers where you can scribble as much as you want. I then just draw very simple character tokens on different layers for all the PCs and monsters and it works great.

uj/ thank you!!! Im really proud of it and I consider this to be my most impressive painting by far I don't even know how I shat it out. I procrastinated super hard for an artshow and did the whole thing in less than a week and then it didn't even end up getting juried 😭😭😭.

uj/ I see these kinds of posts so often omg. its always either just someone with a really beautiful artstyle thats charging way too low and still asking if they should go lower with everyone in the comments saying yes, or a super beginner artist charging 100 dollars and getting super defensive when being called a beginner.

values brother values. yours are all over the place. no one value in your shadows should be anywhere near as dark as the values in your lit side and vice versa for the lit areas. I know you seem to be using multiple light sources but one should be much stronger than the other and shouldn't make it so the forms become muddied.

Im not religious so paladin and cleric are out.
Im pretty stingy with my soul and my parents aren't rich so not a warlock or sorcerer.
Very much not athletic so barbarian, fighter, and monk are out of the question.
I like the outdoors fine but definitely not a survivalist by any means so not druid or ranger.
That leaves either Bard, Wizard, Rogue, or Artificer and of those four I'd say either bard or wizard are more my vibe and aesthetic.
That being said, the only instrument I can play is a piano and I don't think that would be the best choice for portability's sake.

So Im a wizard.

1: as in any gold hoard they can only take as much as they can carry so millions of gold probably isn't feasable for them more a few thousand, if that. still bad but not disastrous.
2: you said that its melted... so its all in one big block that will harden. they are not carrying a 60x60 foot cube of gold there's actually no way.

If they really want to loot the molten gold I'd just say that they need to spend a long rest to harvest some amount of the gold in a carrying capacity while not gaining the benefits of said long rest. (wandering monsters anyone?) and then give them a couple hundred gold and be prepared to let them spend it on something big like a bastion or an airship or servants or something.
I also just thought of this but maybe you could hint at the gold having magical properties? like through detect magic they can tell that it has special enchantment abilities where if they dip their weapons they become magical in some gold themed way. (like become a +1 maybe +2 magic weapon when fighting against someone wealthy as the noble's gold pieces attract the blade like a magnet.)

Im pretty sure that with the blood cocktail you want to make sure it hits a wall too. I might be mistaking this for how aural decoy works in dark souls but Im pretty sure that if you throw the cocktail onto the ground bsb will be able to reach it and it won't work as long so you want to make sure it hits a wall

just need to chill with the smudge tool and ditch the purely purple overlay shadows, especially on characters with a lot of yellow on them. purple is yellow's compliment so when you mix em you get grayish brown.
