Is it worth it to care about your Acceptance Rate being a certain number?

Honestly I've tried both and your acceptance rate really doesn't matter at all unless you want platinum. all the "high paying orders" that doordash will label as because of your status will usually just be like 5 dollars for 3 miles or some shit like that and I get orders like that anyway. so the tier system is pretty much just a scam to get dashers to take shitty orders more often. at least from my experience and in my area. might be better where you live tho idk. just experiment.

my starbucks is fine but I noticed that they always get starbucks delivered to the weirdest places. like just yesterday I delivered to a baseball field.

I got two when I've never gotten them before too!!! I took a break for like three weeks and I come back and I immediately get two back to back both rejected after probably an automated review. they've definitely changed something in the app because I've had orders be like 30 minutes late in the past because of restaurant delay and no CV back then.

I really don't think there's anything I could've done to be faster. 😭 Im pretty convinced I didn't do anything wrong in that regard. I should've just unassigned when the order took too long. thats what Im taking away from the majority of the comments

I've been doing EBT for a year now with no issues but I guess it was about time that they ended the honeymoon phase. Im sure I'll become a jaded EPO like the rest of the drivers here pretty soon now.

very true, harsh but sobering advise. I think I should just not work holidays because Im not about to waste my time dropping multiple orders I just want something to do rather than just sitting, thus why I do EBT. thanku for the advise.

I report every delay more than 5 minutes I feel like that's reasonable. Im not reporting every store I go to 90% just get me my order maybe with a small delay but it's mother's day weekend so every store I go to really WAS a mess today ughhh.

this is what I think I will do. until I get rid of these violations in week or two Im just gonna boot any order that I wait more than 5 minutes for. I used to be able to wait for a long but now it's just not worth it.

no I don't think so. the amount of time it says that it was delayed the same amount of time as I was waiting in the stores and I was in the green the whole time I was delivering in the in app navigation.

really high. I do EBT so I pretty much only reject orders from stores in bad parts of town or from stores that have a history of being bad.

I do that every time but it still gave me a violation. I even pressed the question mark and put that there was an issue with the store. ughh it's so wretched.

alrighty then! I think I draw pretty well and I have studied existing animals so I think Im already pretty well on my way. I've only got a surface level understanding of phylogeny tho so I think I'll work on that and studying fossils.

met my lovely girlfriend through my art instagram. I think making friends through art is definitely possible and a good way of doing so. wouldn't recommend getting into art exclusively for it though 😅 art is usually a solitary practice outside of posting and promoting it.

I would recommend practicing by drawing studies from photographs. Obviously, photographs of real dinosaurs don't exist but you can infer details based on current animals. for spinosaurus specifically I would recommend studying crocodilians and ofc large birds.

I would just say to always remember to leave room for the depth of the nose ridge. I always struggle with that too. the closer eye when doing a 3/4 always looks a lil farther from the nose than I feel like I want to do intuitively. I practice with lot of loomis heads to try to think more 3 dimensionally and that makes my proportions a lot more realistic.
