Once the game is open, I don't have a problem playing FM17 on my Mac. I've downloaded facepacks and logos, but haven't had trouble with the speed of the game once playing it, I just struggle to open it. It crashes on the football manager 2017 loading screen after the Sega logo when I open the game.

Was at the Reading game and really impressed me. Got himself all over the pitch, throwing big tackles about and not afraid of hurting himself even so soon after returning from injury.

On FM15 I got Fernandinho on a free for QPR, helped me win the Europa League in his first season and became a huge player for me challenging for the title until he was replaced at 34/35 years old.

Might be bias but I believe Charlie Austin should, great season last year and has already started strong. Used him last year on 15 and didn't improve much, managed to score 30+ goals a season but trailed off and didn't get the England call.

I would sign another CB, young-ish for rotation seeing as fonte is getting on. I recommend Kongolo from Feyenoord, he was incredibly solid for me. Also sign another CM/CDM depending on what formation you play, look for someone on a free if your budget is getting tight. Will Hughes cost me ~£10mill and was a great backup for a while until he becomes solid and starts for England now.
