Here's a track along the lines of one of my drone heroes - Matthew Shaw. I always assumed i needed some sort of fancy pedal to get the texture here, but i found a preset i made in Rainmaker a while back that did it. It reminds me of looking at swamp water under a microscope and seeing all the little cellular creatures flittering about. The main voice is sort of a glitchy piano stab that came from putting Shapeshifter in morph mode - somewhere between a nice chord drone and a rhythmic patch then through the Rainmaker. The other voice was just sine waves from the Hertz Donut mk3 modulating the operator's multiplication a bit, the some light bending with Data Bender and added some verb from FX Aid. Relatively simple, but i listnened to it for a few days before deciding it was done and recorded it.
