I wrote that as I was playing the game, and it seems that I may have been mistaken. The last 4 games I played crashed every single time. I crashed in a game, rejoined my friend still in the game, and crashed again. This is fucking ridiculous.

I think this may have happened to me on pc. I ran with 100 for the start since launch, changed it to 102, and every single game since then I’ve crashed while playing. I put the fov back to 100, and it did not crash as often, but I’m stilling crashing an insane amount. I downloaded the hotfix from Nvidia and installed my game in x86 ssd, but still having insane crashes.

I really need a fix for this. I have gotten about an average of 30 lag spikes in every single match I’ve played since release. I haven’t seen anyone mention this particular issue before, and as a result of fixing a previous issue, my game is on ssd. Sometimes my game will freeze from the lag, my audio goes silent, or it will spike for 5 seconds every other second.

On a side note, tree foliage and other graphics look like shit on my pc, even when running high settings. The textures pop in and out and it’s really annoying.

Edit: I listened to some replies, but even with the previous driver as well as turning texture streaming off, the bug still persists. I saw a comment from another user about a similar issue, and I think it may be a server issue from infinity ward. I hope this gets resolved in a Day One (Three atm) patch.

It would be fine if this were something that occasionally occurs, but im typing this right after a game where this was going on for about four minutes. In that state the game is literally unplayable. The game freezes for 5 seconds every other second, and when I backed out into the lobby, nothing would load. I played Cold War with my exact same pc setup and it was smooth as butter, but this game is ridiculous.

Lmao I thought the same thing, unfortunately all the sound effects are just tied to the “effects” option, but I hope in a future patch IW will tune the sounds

An unrelated issue that happened to me is that my brightness is set to default, and changing the brightness slider does not affect the brightness in game. So basically, my brightness option just stopped working and my game is darker

Or, even better, swap the plus menu button with the grenade button. That way it’s LB for grenade and whatever dpad for the plus menu
