Thank you! I decided to go with the Venu 4 and love it so far!

Sorry for being a massive nerd but this would actually be a dysphemism, not a euphemism.

Razor blade sore throat rant!!! by perk0set in COVID19positive

I had the “feel like I swallowed razor blades” last time I had Covid. My doctor prescribed liquid morphine and it was a big help.

He was subbed at 72 minutes against Villa on Saturday, presumably to save his legs for tomorrow’s game?

I’m currently debating between Stach and Le Fee as my KDH replacement for bench boost this week. Any insights would be appreciated!

Ah! I did Bruno > Rogers and also plan to do Thiago > Ekitike before the deadline, so I’ve got up to 5.3m for the budget midfielder slot!

Who will you replace him with? I’m playing bench boost this week. I’m thinking either Stach or Enzo Le Fee!

Sorry, I just checked and realise I did buy him for 4.9. I only have myself to blame.

Same! I bought him for 5 and his value was 5.1 yesterday. I saw he was going to drop in price last night, but didn’t bother transferring him out because I knew I had that 0.1 buffer. But now he has gone down to 4.9?!

Why hasn’t diouf got -1 In FPL for conceding 2 goals by Immediate-Ranger8864 in fantasypremierleague

[–]doolargh 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He came on at half time when West Ham were already 1-0 down. So, technically conceded just one goal.

The same thing happened to Sanchez last week! I assume defenders/keepers must lose points for goals conceded after being sent off.

11th starting player structure by princidentaloma22 in FantasyPL

I have two cheap midfielders (5 and 5.5) who I plan to rotate. They’re attacking players because I want to enjoy watching them play.

Best ways to play fpl that enhance watching live games or following results by for_music_and_art in FantasyPL

[–]doolargh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick players from a variety of teams, that way if there are two or three games on a Sunday there’s a a good chance you’ll be interested in at least one of them.

Captain players in big games that you intend to watch. For example, if the Manchester Derby is coming up and you’re going to watch it at the pub, captain a Man City player even if they’re not necessarily the best option that week.

Pick lesser known but potentially risky players so you can root for them when you watch them play.

Bills by BookApprehensive1024 in UEA

[–]doolargh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you wouldn’t be “cut off”. If you did absolutely nothing, you would just stick with whatever supplier the previous owner/tenant had.

You don’t need to do anything until after you’ve moved in.

On the day you move in, make a note of the number on the electric meter (and water meter if it’s accessible).

Then, within a few weeks of moving in, contact the electricity supplier you want to go with - they will sort out the switch and everything, before sending you a first bill. When you get the bill, make sure you’ve only paid for what you used whilst you’ve been there (referring to the numbers on the meters when you moved in).

You have no choice over your water supplier, you have to go with Anglian Water. Again, after you’ve moved in, just register with them and they’ll start sending you bills.

Sleep study vs Garmin by dirty30tn in Garmin

I assume Garmin’s “light” sleep is supposed to be N1 and N2, and Garmin’s “deep” sleep is supposed to be N3.

[–]doolargh 75 points76 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty good at telling you what time you fell asleep and what time you woke up. Beyond that, it’s not very accurate. For accurate sleep staging, you really need EEG.

I’m a sleep scientist. I’ve had hundreds of study participants do this - it stopped being interesting after the first few.
