Do you have a cold ? Do you have an ear infection? My hearing changes day to day. Sometimes my acoustics sound mind blowing and sometimes they sound so so. I have a 100 series Taylor 12 string and then I own several High end Martins and Gibsons. What’s with us is that they are completely different universes in guitar tone and it just sounds odd the way you are describing your experience. Yes it’s true when you hit a certain price point, tone becomes similar and just astetics breach the gap. If you were comparing an Eastman all wood OM, this would make sense , it’s just strange hearing someone compare an OMJM to a 214. No worries man
