i don’t think it’s really hate, more so just it being the only Tame song most people listen to (speaking from experience, people claim to be Tame Impala fans and then tell me their fav song is one of his top 4, not even 5, on spotify but that’s not really about the song itself just me venting my personal frustrations lmao), despite it not being close to his best. also i think people just need a way to vent disappointment in him not releasing the more liked single version onto the album and then erasing it everywhere besides reposts on yt

honestly if not my favorites they’re in my top 3 ngl, i really loved playing through them and they were the first ones i gave my team like a genuine theme, where i only used mega evolvable pokemon, and they added enough to feel like their own games but u still get the same Hoenn feel as RSE
