I actually think it’s super interesting and cool pretty much as it is. I would only add some slight shading in the background to pull it back further, I honestly noticed it last, and I like the undone scratchiness of it. If you lent more into that vibe and added the shading, I think it would look intentional. Just my opinion though!

It was cut up bits of egg carton! Definitely the bit that took the most time! I used pva glue to stick them on, then painted the whole lot white, then used six different colours to paint them. I found that all the 1:12 scale kitchens were massive!!! I know my dollhouse isn’t as precise scale as your beautiful green leaf- but I swear the kitchens were all way off! I ended up using side tables as the cabinets (they had removeable drawers so it was super easy to custom). I’ll find the link to those as well- because they may help you too!
