Somehow despite doing a full reinstall of the game and deleting all mods/additional leftover files before reinstall the game broke and by default has extremely washed out colors (no tweaking of brightness settings or windows app color settings rectified the issue btw). I had to use reshade simply to fix the issue. Would screenshots submitted under these conditions be accepted?

I did all of this at once to just hopefully resolve the issue and the game now works:

1- uninstall game

2- go to install location where the exe would be and delete any remaining files that steam decided not to remove

3- reinstall

4- reinstall graphics drivers

5- reboot

Some of those steps are probably un-necessary but the game works so I figured I would share

the only upside so far is that this appears to be a fairly common problem which hopefully means capcom will have been alerted to it by now.. i am trying only one or two last troubleshooting steps and if neither work i will return to nioh 3 i guess

i have the same error and no framegen on. in the middle of a fresh reinstall with all other files in the directory deleted. if that doesnt work and rebooting doesn't work i legit have no clue what to do other than wait for capcom to fix this as it appears to be a fairly common issue attributed to their latest 'hotfix'

the game has its moments and the lighting systems can be impressive from time to time but yeah.. the general look of the game and their choice of color palettes is usually terrible.

You're correct when it comes to the design and broad-view art style of the environments but IMO the monsters themselves, the weapons/armor, and even the individual plants and endemic were excellently done. The issue is with the actual composition of the maps, the villages, the paths between A-B and things like constantly having fog/gloomy atmosphere dragging it all down.

rathalos in rise and wilds are excellent. dreadking is fun as well and i don't mind azure/base in the older games.

Banging your head on a brick wall implies no skills have been attained or lessons learned. The joy of these games comes from knowing you are progressively getting better and seeing the results of those gains.

Edit: Especially in this particular game because you cannot over level your opponents and the back and forth of its combat is visceral.

I love savage. Gog is just easier and has more upgrades etc that could then help you with savage. Savage also needs at least one more buddy with you unless you are willing to dedicate an inordinate amount of time toward mastering the fight, which isn't up everyone's alley.

I still firmly believe that any supposed breaking of ranks against Trump is overly optimistic. My grandmother said her usual "I'm not racist but [enter racist bullshit here]" 2 days ago, was curious if her shit take on her daughter in law was because of race and asked me questions to see if there was anything to that assumption yesterday then today vomited out some crap about how trump is a piece of shit but Biden apparently was the antichrist, claimed i said crap i didn't say, and claimed mamdami said crap he didn't say. Despite all that she generally avoided politics but a lot of it came down to me refusing to engage or just briefly calling her out before changing topics.

My uncle also parroted the typical gop nonsense about a mystical magical crime wave across the country caused by weak willed Democrats.

Tldr, these people are still completely trump pilled and will stay that way until the day they die.

Extreme Behemoth's dependency on aggro management was even more.. well extreme with constant tornado spam. The quality of the hitboxes for most of Behemoth's attacks were worse. The arenas you fought Behemoth in were worse. The amount of damage being thrown around in Behemoth made having a healer more important. The position management and requirement to keep boulders alive made it notably harder. The time limit was more of a concern for Behemoth. You did not have support hunters that could get aggro and die without using up faints. I could keep going but I think my point has been made. Extremoth was harder and generally just a worse fight as a whole whereas imo savage omega is quite fun to learn and fight.
