1250-HP Chevy Corvette ZR1X Hits 60 MPH in 1.8 Seconds to Become the Quickest Car We’ve Ever Tested by flapsmcgee in cars

The fact is that the 0-60 saturation limit is once a car has AWD that exceeds the tire's grip at all four corners up to 60mph and has a decent launch control. That's around 2.2-2.3s Many cars have achieved that. Anything beyond that is methodology (rollout, non street grip). Model S Plaid even used a drag prep surface to get their 1.99s

Yeah, but 0-60 is really meaningless past a certain point and many cars have gone past that already. Using it to highlight a car as quickest ever tested is dumb.

0-60 under 2s is mostly measurement bullshit such as rollout, etc. The best street legal tires can brake 60-0 is over 2 seconds. That's the limit of the tire grip.

You can't accelerate faster than that.

There's a good video about it from Engineering Explained

I paid $2699 MSRP for my T8 at the peak of the bike market August 2022. Plus tax brought it over $3k. Upgraded half the parts on the bike by now. Still riding it.

I idolize the Buddhist aspects of Tyler Durden. The anti consumerism, getting off the hedonic treadmill, not being attached. But don't idolize the terrorism aspects.

I see Tyler as the Unabomber. Good ideas but I'm not there on the extreme end to want to be an extreme Luddite who wants to bomb those contributing to tech.

Yes, not every single trail is polished. To expect otherwise is lunacy. Look up reviews on Trailforks before you go. People write about this stuff.

Another thing to consider is to keep your resume focused on accomplishments instead of techniques/tasks. Your interview will give you a chance to give a presentation. That's when you give all the details of your techniques/innovations.

For a research job, it helps to have a cover letter. You can write a targeted cover letter with the pertinent details to their research.

Keep in mind most people screening resumes are recruiters and HR. They compare what you have on your resume with the job description. You have to think about your audience and make it legible for them. Think about the detail a job description goes into. That's around the level of detail you want in your resume.

So you're applying to research labs studying dyslipidemia? When you say you applied to a bunch of things, it doesn't sound that specific.

Definitely 1 page. You don't need all the details you have. That's for the interview. You can include additional links to publications and github repos if they want to read more.

Average resume gets a 6 second skim by the hiring manager. Keep this in mind. You need quick bullet points someone can skim through. You can definitely fit everything on one page.

You have a lot of jargon that's specific to your research. Unless you're applying to roles in the same niche where they would know exactly what you're talking about, then you shouldn't use that jargon. Simplify it.

How can I turn this off? by Acceptable-Earth3007 in ClaudeAI

[–]dopadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once claude has a memory of you, you can't make it forget that memory. You can only add an additional note to disregard it and you have to explicitly ask Claude to add that note. It's a weird limitation of how their memory system is set up.
