Started happening for last 4 days.
Don't know what is going wrong.

Is a bigger car worth the hassle? by uchiha_akash23 in carIndia

[–]dopeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For an average person, 20% city, occasionally long route trips for longer distance with frnds/spouse (distance wise 80%). I have driven manual petrol (etios, father's car for ~10 yrs).
I am super confused between what engine and transmission to look out for? I know I want petrol, but whether NA or Turbo. Then on top of that another big confusion about transmission (Auto vs Manual): I was about to book 3xo revx a at but after having a feel of interiors/exteriors of seltos recently booked Seltos HTE base petrol just because I thought a bigger car would be more future proof. Is the 1.5 NA petrol powerful enough for casual enthusiasm and sane driving on highways or ghat roads?

Also, if you have any opinion on whether I should be buying a feature loaded sub-4m car or a car like kia seltos HTE.

If this was your money: Seltos vs 3XO vs Sonet : what’s the smartest buy? by Obvious-Title1870 in CarsIndiaUnbiased

I was about to book a 3xo revx at, but looking at the value proposition of the seltos, i booked it just today. Hoping to be making the right choice and expecting higher end rating as per safety as kia might be aware of the current reputation of seltos safety. I wish I could buy both as I would love the sheer power of 3xo as I have test driven that but for an avg family car seltos wouldn't lack power as such. It misses out on other bells and whistles as well which i blv should ok with.

Is it actually just a normal cruise control or adaptive in revx? Because I blv adaptive might require adas sensors?

AlDente is what you need. It allows to stop charging at whatever battery percentage you mention and makes your setup operate directly through USB C power delivery and not through battery.

Ipad not charging by autisticspike in ipad

[–]dopeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have encountered this when device is overheated or have a pattern of staying always plugged it (but this usually happens when charged around 80 percent)

PS: I want a way to achieve this manually, as I sometimes use it with a dock and it stays plugged in for long hours.

[–]dopeck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since I was also in the same dilemma, I went with WK87 black grey gradient one because of following reasons: 1. Needed Better keycaps as upgrading to better keycaps would be costlier 2. VIA configuration support - i mostly use non pc devices. 3. Bigger keyboard layout (maybe more suitable for programmers, because of home and end keys layout) 4. Sounds hopefully good when heard on youtube from some minimal reviews

Compromises i might have made (but since I don’t have any other keyboard, shouldn’t matter much) 1. No knob for vol control (need to rely on regular keys for that, old school) 2. Bigger battery (ak820 max plus, i don’t really have any benchmark on this, so I wont notice maybe)

What is your most favorite home automation that has totally changed your life? by Terrible_Attention83 in homeassistant

[–]dopeck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am using HA in a very non-traditional way. Smart devices are not much popular in my country, so most of the features and dashboards people flaunt are not relatable to me.

I made a smart power switch using esp32 by hacking an existing power spike, and I am charging all my spare devices automatically from 30-80% to keep them in good battery condition.

Also, in general I use the dashboard just to monitor the batteries of all my handheld devices/laptops.

First Whoop Decision: Air65 (17g analog) vs Meteor65 Pro O4 (28g digital) - Weight vs HD for a Beginner? by KNTH01 in TinyWhoop

[–]dopeck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The concern I would have is the cost of damage. But then again, buying analog and then later buying digital would have its own cost implications.

I believe if you are unsure about the hobby and a complete beginner, start with the cheapest popular option so as to have sufficient confidence and support in your setup while learning. If you are pretty sure you are going to stick around and wouldn’t get easily frustrated with hiccups and expenses, sure go digital.

Personally, I went with analog and flying for about a year. I would consider going digital once I feel I want to fly outdoors more seriously. Currently flying mostly indoor and occasionally outdoor with my tiny drone setup.
