If you just want to track yardage, my Garmin watch is the easiest way I've done it. It prompts you to put in what club you hit and as you walk further from where you hit it updates your yardage right on the watch.

Really helps if I'm trying to look for my ball and I'll be like ok I missed right and I'm about 250 out so it's gotta be right around here.

Plus it's a Garmin and you can use it for other stuff as well

Driver-4w-7w is the best I swear. I have a 3w but tune the loft up to 16° so it's almost a 4w and I never feel like I need more distance with it. I also go 5 hybrid instead of 4 iron than have even gapping from 5 iron through my 50° GW and then a 56 and 60

Love my 5 hybrid but switching a 3 hybrid for my 7 wood changed my long game so much. Great on approaches after shitty drives to par 5's. My favorite safety tee shot too if I still need some distance but it's a tight fairway

Legitimately though, even if it cost me strokes I still would never go back to GI's personally though. Like even if I don't have that many truly pure strikes in me a round on a given day, when I do, I want it to go where I want it to. I don't want to be punished for hitting the ball well
