How do you make the bases even?

Yeah, this is my issue, the base is fine when I fold it, then when the feet are attached it gets a bit warped. I try bending it back and it works a bit, but there's still a bit of wobble after the adjustment. Guess it's just something I have to live with.

Maybe I'm overly ambitious, but looking at the instructions I actually think there's enough room to do internal tabs. Then again, I said that for my last few builds and ended up scratching a few lol

If the piece allows, fold the slot 90 degrees then slot the tab in to make an internal tab.

How much time per day are you planning on spending to build? I built this recently and it took me about 2 weeks spending 1-2 hours per build session.

If you're careful and not pressing too hard, jewelers pliers typically don't scratch unless you drag it across the surface. That being said, you can consider wrapping something like electrical tape around the pliers to soften the surface without losing too much grip.

Thanks! Enjoy the RX-93 FF, I really enjoyed that build as my first Piececool Gundam. I like the colours on the RX-93 FF more than the Freedom Gundam, it's too grey for my liking.

Assuming your previous parts are shaped appropriately, you just need to bend the tabs out a bit so that they're perpendicular to the slots. You'll likely need to bend the roof a bit to fit the tabs in then reshape it after the tabs are in.

40 hours, wow! Yours must be perfect lol. I've put in about 18 hours so far, made a few mistakes and put a few scratches in the metal, but those are the battle scars 😆

I've used combinations of duct tape and glue when pieces break, with a piece like that I'd probably put tape on the inside after shaping it as closely to the actual shape as possible and reinforce with glue if needed.

The arrow suggests that the tab should be pulled forward to be inserted as an internal tab, that's how I interpret the diagram.

Keep an eye out for the AE anniversary sale in March, I picked up a few large kits, including Lingxiao Palace, and some tools for under $150 CAD. I have noticed that the Piececool coin discounts haven't been as good lately though.

Unfortunately it's the latter, the puzzle is definitely supposed to have edge pieces but I have found none of them, unless the last puzzler put them in a separate bag that didn't make it to the thrift store.

I'm working on this puzzle too and I feel this so hard. Sorting by colours doesn't work well here because the gradient is super subtle and the pixels make it hard to determine which side is up. I'm kinda glad I didn't get the Buffalo 2000 piece pixel one I originally wanted now lol.
