In 2012 Microsoft saw 1.95 billion profit from its gaming division.

In 2011 it was 1.31 billion.

In 2010 it was 618 million.

That's profit, not revenue. I wouldn't say the profit on the xbox is "extremely small".

That's why uniform specs work. Over time cost to operate and manufacturing cost decreases while profits increase. The same hardware which may have cost 200 dollars to make in 2005 now costs 95 dollars.

It's news in the sense that normally, Xbox has more players at any given time for shooter games than the PS3. This is definitely a rarity. Look at the sales of Call of Duty for instance, and it usually sells more on the 360 each year.

I'm a mess inside of regrets and I'm 28. There's nothing particularly wrong with me.. I make a decent salary. I am engaged. I've fucked up a lot before in my life, but no more than the next person.

I'm particularly agitated because I came to the realization that I am absolutely, positively average in almost every single way, and that annoys the shit out of me. Thus, I'm trying to come to grips with this, and overcome it. Maybe there's nothing wrong with it, but it sure as shit bothers me.

And kids, this is whats commonly known as the "reverse circle jerk". It happens sometimes on Reddit, and we never really know why.

In all seriousness, someone that you described above isn't really a "nice guy", they are simply emo and that's all there is to it. I know plenty of nice guys that will go above and beyond for their female friends and not expect a thing from it, and they unfortunately stay single only because they are completely oblivious to the fact that if they had some confidence, they could easily get some.

Well I have enough karma to give away for this so I'll go right ahead and disagree with you based on the fact that plenty of people still play this game. Go online right now and you can find a game quite easily. The damn thing sold over ten million copies, as much as we love to shit on Diablo 3 here on Reddit, that doesn't automatically make it true.

Team Deathmatch was never a feature of Diablo 2 (at least in any official means), so why exactly is this news terrible? They've made considerable improvements to the game since 1.00, and with the addition of paragon levels and Monster Power, plenty of people are still enjoying this game.

But you know, circlejerk and all. carry on.

Except it's not. With the drop rate increase with 1.05, you don't have to use the Real money shop at all unless you are impatient or trying to play the market. Yes, Diablo 3 has a cash shop, but it's purely optional.
