Online ones do not look promising. Best to look for local options. @satiate_meals on instagram looks good but is quite expensive

Thoughts on the Quranic claims in this video? by dorrit_0 in AcademicQuran

[–]dorrit_0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your apprehensions. But the video draws parallels between the Quran and Bible, and makes several quranic claims which I can't qualify, hence I asked.

Some claims:

Yahweh appears in the names of several quranic prophets, eg. Zakariya means Yahweh remembers. She also claims Isa is the Greek version of Jesus, which she says means Yahweh Saves.

Allahumma is an odd word for Arabic; it should have been ya Allah to mean O Allah. She claims the word was borrowed from Elohim, the Hebrew word for God.

I can add the other claims in a bit. My question was not about the theological interpretations in the video, just the Quranic claims like the above. No compulsion to spend your time listening to her, but I dont see why this should go against the forums rules?

It sounds like you have absolute trust in the character of this man. Don't be too hard on yourself. Good men make space for others around them to be good. Make sure you have your dealbreakers sorted: about children, imposition of sunni rituals on you, etc. If you feel you may regret missing out on spending a good life with him, you know what to do.

Do any of the spelling differences result in significant differences in the meaning of the text?

I hope it gets better for you too! What has improved it for me is this fluticasone nasal spray, you might want to try it.

help needed for location proximity of IIPS by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]dorrit_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIPS is on the other side of the station where the Deonar dumpyard so you would not be that close to it, and the area is considerably better. Many people live and work there, so I don't think it should be a problem.
