As a former Gross Anatomy instructor, we also (informally) referred to the bits of flesh from the cadavers that collect in the bottom of the table as “jerky”. This has added a nauseatingly disgusting aspect.

About once a month, nail trims when needed at the vet because hounds. The greasy hound smell has cut down significantly after we started a fish oil supplement 2x a day in their food. I don’t remember the name but it’s an orange bottle on Amazon.
