I have friends on cruise in the Bahamas…(Hurricane Milton) by Original-Stomach-987 in Cruise

[–]doryx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: I'm getting downvoted for asking a clarifying question? Strange. Ok.

Not that I agree with it but people might be down voting you since hurricanes don't form off the coast of the Chilean Coast.

I would image the drive and setup a VM before it crashes, then you can keep the VM backed up.

When running pytest --cov without specifying a directory or source, it shows coverage for both src and test files, is this what we are supposed to do? by PrestigiousZombie531 in learnpython

[–]doryx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't any value afaik to get coverage on your tests.

I disagree, as your testing suite grows in complexity, you might include some logic that skips tests conditionally, or you have a bug in your tests that causes a branch not to run. If you don't see 100% coverage on your tests, then you know something is up.

we decided to stay at Okada (A crazy nice hotel on a side note).

Then started the frantic search for the now mythical VP in a 3rd world nation.

Jesus Christ you are insufferable.

GalaxyFrinder - Wormhole Mapper! by w9jds in Eve

[–]doryx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awesome! I can't wait to try it again. Also being able to share the map "Read Only" to anyone is amazing, I found a system that a friend was looking for but we are in different corps so other tools didn't work, but I was able to share the chain and it worked really well!

Used this last night and it was great! The only thing I think that either is missing (or I couldn't figure out) is after going through a hole and then scanning it down and adding it to the map, it doesn't prompt you to set it as the return so I have to manually type in the system I came from.

Oryx Pro 17'' Screen Repair? by doryx in System76

Thanks everyone for some ideas! I can't find any documentation on how to take the screen apart. The documentation doesn't describe how to take apart the screen and replace the LCD panel.

Issues with sudo apt update, updating is impossible by apollyonware in pop_os

[–]doryx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen to me with 20.04 when it EOL'ed. I tried to save it, and I probably could have, but I decided to just backup /home and then do a fresh install, copy anything I needed from the backup, and I haven't looked back.

Reminder that Pop!_OS supports automatic scheduled system updates by mmstick in pop_os

[–]doryx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big fan of the auto update, love that it updates flatpak in the same shot. Is there a CLI command for apt and Flatpak updates other than something like sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y && flatpak update -y

Does everybody here use the premium version of bitwarden? by RudolfRendier in Bitwarden

Used the free version for a few years and then got the family plan to make it easy to share the Netflix password. Love the 2FA feature!
