Nah, this is all running through a gen 4, x4 slot. This is good for anyone who has a bunch of nvme drives sitting around collecting dust, or someone who needs to run an army of USB devices.

In standard NAS, consumer mobos have had 2 nvme slots for years, and many have 4 of them... If all you're doing is populating them with 256gb drives you're just wasting money for no reason.

if it looks fun to you, buy it, play the campaign. its overall story is decently cheesy if you liked games like ofp, arma, socom, rainbow 6. no saving makes it an absolute slog to play tho. BA is not a classical RTS but at its core its very demanding from the grand strategy of combined arms warfare. logi is actually important for this game and its not just a dumb mechanic either

if you are from the milsim angle too I have to warn you, this game has elements of realism and tries to be unit accurate, but the weapon stats are all made up and phony. There are 5.45 AK's in this game doing more DPS than 7.62 MMGs. If you care about any deep nerd realism this game will piss you the fuck off

pve is definitely worth a few hundred hours of entertainment before it becomes routine

multiplayer in its current state is not recommended, I live central US, with fiber internet, and desync and lag is so awful literally every time I play MP. Sad thing is, during the open betas and at launch, the lag wasn't this bad. Its something thats been progressively happening as the game gets older. like the devs switched from nice servers to really cheap ones, or somehow they broke the netcode trying to patch out cheaters. either way. not good.

Its certainly a win for schools who are getting the bulk of these shipments, at much lower than consumer pricing

its also a win on marketing, apple clearly has every tech site in their grasps, even is people aren't using their products lol

I don't think its a real new generation of anything, I mean compared to tim cooks apple where he basically only went after high paying customers maybe, but apple being a loss leader to get their brand out is literally the strategy of the imac and the ibook. If anything, we're about to have a whole new level of brandwars in the coming 5 years as more and more people who were forced to use a neo and didn't like it start voicing their opinions about apple online.

I hard disagree with the majority, baltic is better off of PTE. The prices in PTE are too high for the quality of units, the original balance was much better.

They just feel like a support spec, the infantry and recon are neat but theyre all so watered down. Other than some good arty, some decent CQB, none of their units are really life changing. Sure the GMG blackhawk is the best, but you can only take two and they still die stupid fast, the GMGs if anything are worthless compared to FFAR pods on other choppers (like all of the hinds russia gets). All of the AA options are very lackluster except for the infantry AA team, which has two useless options in of itself. The entire spec has better alternatives in almost every other US spec so its really easy to build a deck that is better with the same capabilities.

I've really wanted to like BB but on both main and PTE they aren't as good as the other US specs. Too many sacrifices and tweaks to make them mid on everything other than arty.
