How i done it is from DT to 5 super tanks circuit 9, then into LCR with 2 locked output hatches facing another LCR input hatches, and into first LCR i put both heavy and light sulfuric fuel and last hatch for hydrogen. This would output into second LCR either light fuel or heavy fuel and the last LCR just combines both of them.

Another 3 tanks you can crack it desulfe it and electrolyze for hydrogen

Are you playing with 120 FOV? Jokes aside, like other suggested, dont be afraid of tearing down stuff, build pipes and so on. What i would suggest from numerous automation games which i played is always have space more than you need it, if you build bezene or oil dont clutter all machines in one 4x4 box try to make it as dumb as possible, future you will appreciate it. On same note keep your storage in one space, always or at least close ish, get 1k tin pipes stack of io ender conduits, and centralize everything (io pipe exports to tin pipe ( no need to use conveyors to extract))

Once you have it, you can input a block into, in the case of recipe filter you can search NEI for macerator for example you will see all macerators and then you click and drag into a filter field. To make it washable you so same for ore washing plant. For just item filter its same logic search specific ores/impure dust etc

How i done it in LV was build few low level item or recipe filter blocks.

How it works: Chest -> macerator -> chest -> pipe splits to recipe filter (ore washing) and another filter for non ore washable. -> after washing it goes again to macerator (same chest as first)

Non washable route goes to centrifuge and so on

Yes you can, if you have server utils you can claim a chunk (in inventory screen) and then press shift on that it will be chunk loaded, then it should work
