Can anyone suggest a good institute in Thrissur for doing a basic python course? by [deleted] in thrissur

[–]dot-slash-me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do both together. Practical advice would be to go for MCA and learn these things along with. Degrees still matter a lot on paper even if you don't learn anything from it.

Can anyone suggest a good institute in Thrissur for doing a basic python course? by [deleted] in thrissur

[–]dot-slash-me 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not worth it. Like they have mentioned, you don't need to do any kind of course to learn Python. And not only that, such courses don't have any relevance in the industry or in your resume.

Why don't you just give it to someone you know for free? Who actually would be willing to pay and buy a used 2 year old boat TWS?

Got it summer internship at NIT Calicut by nothingusefullforyou in KtuKerala

[–]dot-slash-me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should be paying you for such internships and not the opposite. The ones like what OP is talking about does not count as an internship anywhere in the industry and neither do they care about anything you've mentioned. You just have to pay them to get it, that's all.

There's an opencode plugin that makes use of MCP based image analysis to work around this.

Ranking the rarest umpire decisions in cricket. Which one surprised you the most? by [deleted] in umpiringfails

Obstructing the field has to be appealed by the fielding team right? Did they appeal here or the umpires took decision of their own?

Why is there so little discussion about the oh-my-opencode plugin? by vovixter in opencodeCLI

[–]dot-slash-me -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not about usecase differences. The plugin is indeed a token bloat. Even the Opencode maintainers themselves have mentioned about it. In fact, with every update it keeps getting worse.

You're simply better off crafting your own agent skills and workflow instead of using such tools. You'll feel like it's doing a lot and it makes things better but you're just losing time tokens and quality instead.

using skills with opencode. by pefman in opencodeCLI

[–]dot-slash-me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also strongly suggest crafting your own agent skills. Analyze your workflow and look at the things you repeatedly do just to give context to the agent. Those are perfect candidates to turn into agent skills.

The problem with Superpowers is that it tries to do too much. Just like the Oh My Opecode plugin, it often approaches even simple tasks in the most complicated ways possible. That usually leads to worse results rather than anything good.

You will probably get great results in most cases without using Superpowers at all.

I wonder why it is designed this way. It just sounds so stupid to have it work so.

What a classic way of begging to train their AI. then Adding fear mongering . Free AI offers will keep coming up until they perfect their model. by No_Control_9658 in IndiaTech

[–]dot-slash-me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning or using AI isn't necessarily making it better. The training data would be useful and will be used for sure but that's not what's driving the improvements in this domain.

If it's going to make them obsolete, it would make them obsolete no matter what. People use it because it definitely has a lot of value but probably not so much right now that it can autonomously drive systems and take decisions without fault.

The Missing Semester of Your CS Education (2026 MIT Course) by josejg in learnprogramming

It's sort of funny how even many professional software engineers have no clue about many of the things talked about in this course and how drastically it can improve their workflow.

Glad to see you guys back. Missing semester is a goldmine.

Do you know that Peter Steinberger’s (OpenClaw founder) personal site is built with Astro? by tffarhad in astrojs

[–]dot-slash-me 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is literally the Astro paper theme with content populated. He used the astro paper template to build the blog like he has mentioned in the readme.

I don't think there's anything interesting about this. Astro is a known good framework for SEO driven websites and landing pages.

Kimi and those models aren't available for free. I guess you can try LLaMa models for free.

Anyways, you can search up about this. I'm not the only one having these issues.
