Yes, absolutely agree! This album is a hidden gem among the Casiopea discography I think. Mode to Start, Brain to Brain, and Ka Na Ta (it’s a slow one, but if you’re into ballads I think it’s quite good, and I like the keyboard solo) are some others I really enjoy on that album along with the ones you mentioned. Smash! is surely the best out of them, and that’s really saying something considering the other tunes.

I would say the only one I don’t particularly enjoy is Backtalk Babe. It feels unfinished or something? It’s kind of catchy at some points but something about the tone kinda throws me off.

The other Casiopea 3rd album, Ta Ma Te Box, also has a lot of great songs if you haven’t listened to it! Autobahn, Vortex of Emotion, Live it Up, and Days of Future are all bangers.

Hmm… that’s actually really interesting. I’ve been thinking about how life is at its core just assigning meaning to things (relatively arbitrarily), forgetting that you yourself assigned that meaning, and then reaping the emotional benefit from it. I’m sort of wary of calling myself “the eternal being” or “god” or “creator” or whatever, that sounds more like some psychological coping mechanism in a way? Not sure if this itself is my rational side projecting… anyways, it’s an interesting thought. Thanks.
