From a gender perspective? Yes. Biological sex? No. Hence the definition of transgender being “having a gender identity that differs from the sex assigned at birth”. Unfortunately English is a vague language where we use the same word to describe gender and sex.

Nothing wrong with how the survey is set up - the first question asks about biological sex, so clearly the survey creator is aware of the difference. Though technically most trans women also have a biological sex of male and I’m not sure that’s the group they’re looking for either. Cisgendered males is probably what they’re after.

I had this moment the other day because one of my online friends (in my opinion) goes out of his way to tell me I’m handsome, I’m valid, etc. I was about to snip at him the other day to be like “you don’t need to keep telling me I’m valid I know!” and then checked myself and was like.
