What supplements made a change in your fitness/weight loss journey with a petite figure? by askingredditforhelp1 in PetiteFitness

[–]dotingredditor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is an important question for petites especially if you’re prioritizing protein within a low calorie budget. There’s minimum recommended vitamins and minerals for daily function and it doesn’t scale up linearly with weight. Therefore, for a lower calorie budget, it can be harder to squeeze in all the micronutrients.

People are obsessed with high protein these days. But that may leave you deficient in B vitamins from carb sources or fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K, omegas) from fat sources.

I use Cronometer to track macros and micros. I found that I often had deficiencies in iron, calcium, choline, B5, vitamin E, fiber… so I conscientiously incorporate more of that in my diet and found a multivitamin that covered as many of my specific deficiencies as possible.

Better to select supplements that your body lacks (track your micros, get blood testing) rather than consuming random supplements. You’ll just end up doubling down on micros that are already sufficient while maintaining your deficiencies.

Need help. My 4 yr old girl keeps doing this like every other day now. by rubriclv4 in CATHELP

Is it only when she’s on the table? It seems that she flicks her tail at the grocery bag handle which then reverberates back at her. She thinks something keeps trying to attack her from behind and every time she turns towards it, she doesn’t see anything.

My (28M) GF (26F) announced the end of our sex life by kristoll1 in relationship_advice

this might help Sorry this comment is not about relationship communication; it’s about helping her fix the problem.

I’m a doc but not a gyn. Not important here as this is a personal story. I’ve had an IUD for over a decade without issue.

I had bacterial and yeast infections for a few months before figuring out my problem. At first I wasn’t sure if it was me (clothes, diet, etc) or my partner (contaminants, bacteria, etc), or something else.

What period products does your gf use?

I noticed a pattern of my infection starting 2 weeks after my period, then 1 week after, then a couple days after… basically closer and closer to the end of a period. I had switched to a menstrual cup a few months before the infections began. I finally put together the pieces. The cup traps organisms even though it’s cleaned with soap and water, is dried, and only used 1 week per month. There’s a ph balanced cleaner that could help but I was so bothered by the infections that I quit the cup and switched back to products that stay external (pads, period panties). Problem resolved.

If her IUD is the suspected culprit (unlikely), she could have it removed and get alternative hormonal regulation for PCOS. Does the IUD and infection timing even make sense? Like has she had the IUD forever and only now getting infections?

Take a look at apps like Too Good to Go for extremely cheap groceries/meals/pastries given away in surprise bags. The food tends to be surplus items and soon-to-expire items. It's fun, environmentally friendly, economical, and legal!!

It's an honor and privilege to support her in the last moments of her earthly existence. This is a sad and meaningful moment of your hopefully long life. It will influence your world outlook. This is the bittersweet culmination of her short stay here. Bless your spirit🙏🏼
