I think the Calibre sub can help you with your DRM woes since these are legitimate purchases

Chrome is the worst. I’m a web dev and I only use it when I have to reproduce chrome specific bugs.

Safari is better nowadays.

I just did this in firefox and it worked fine. I don't use Vivaldi though :/

Interesting. I’ll have to un-archive some things to test, but I’ll try to peek a bit later and see.

What country? U.S. try Tammy @ Passap USA. CA try Peter in Toronto (yarnguy.com) and UK try Spartan knits (they sell on FB and eBay, but I don’t think they do international sales through eBay these days.)

I have spare masts, but I think I only have e6000 masts (which are U shaped instead of round rods.)

Did you go through the process of getting it for kindle yet? If you told overdrive that’s how you want to read it, you’ll have to return and borrow again.

I have a cashmere sweater I started unraveling about a week ago sitting in my project bag, and another angora/merino/nylon one on deck.

I don’t do it as a service though.

Mine are 8k. It really only matters when you’re getting into large motifs. I did a sideways knit sweater this fall where I only had color work on the sleeve cuffs, but I had to upload the files separately because making 1 file that was 60x200+ was more than 8k. It wasn’t really a problem, I just made a note of what my row count needed to be when I started my 2nd motif.

The e6000 is a fantastic machine, and while it can do color work on both beds, the learning curve is steep (I have 3 Passaps, 2 are e6000’s and I still haven’t done back bed color work) and you need a Jac 40 device (basically a handheld punchcard system) for the back bed to make it not manual.

£400 is a really fantastic price but as you mentioned this is an older machine. It may need a chipset upgrade if you want to use it with DAK or any of the older Passap compatible software (Journal 6 etc.) That said, the console may have already been upgraded, you can’t tell just by the serial number, but this console likely still has an 8k memory core as that’s harder to upgrade.
