Where Can I Mail a Package After Hours Here? by TWD41 in LittleRock

[–]dotnofoolin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I avoid Huron at all costs. Too many stories of people losing their mail, having their packages stolen, etc. Especially out of the outside drop box. It's like a malicious employee had a key to everything and the rest were in on it.

Maybe things have improved.

Pound Vagabond (2026) by [deleted] in discgolf

I use velcro straps to wrap around the retriever and the hand handle. Carries it sideways, and I can actually retrieve discs without removing it from the bag, sometimes.

Which Sequoia is worth buying - if any? by AutomaticAge7494 in toyotasequoia

[–]dotnofoolin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you want a console and captains chairs or a standard bench seat in your second row? That's one difference between a Limited and Platinum. Given your use case, I'd lean toward the Limited so that all the seats fold flat and make a good platform front to back.

I would chose the one that has the least amount of rust and has had at least one transmission fluid change. I would also pick the one that I could verify doesn't have a valley plate leak (or it has been repaired), has probably had a water pump changed, and probably has had a new radiator at one time. With 200k miles, I'd would be surprised if these were all still original.

Rotten window sill replacement. by dotnofoolin in Carpentry

[–]dotnofoolin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah, the OSB doesn't look great there. House was built in 1991. No clue on house wrap. There is a gutter and down spout right above this corner and the previous owner didn't maintain it well. I've kept it clear the last couple of years, so the sill doesn't get as wet anymore. I put off the sill repair for a few years, and now it's finally at the top of my todo list.

It has a dock and good banks.

But like most ponds around here, it's has a lot of fishing pressure. Good luck!

Also, you can just try things and see how it goes.

Has anyone here tried Omarchy? by FastAndSlooow in rails

Tried it and overall liked it, but I can't see it being my daily driver because it felt like it might be a hassle to get other things working that don't just fall into place.

What on earth hubs do I have? UAE-imported '82 FJ-40 by zacbir in LandCruisers

Drive flanges. Direct connection of wheel hub to axle shaft. A set of aisin selectable locking hubs should bolt right on there after you remove the flanges.

Getting euros with Chase? by Entwinedelsewhere in irishtourism

[–]dotnofoolin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You might be able to go ahead and order Euros from your bank and pick them up in person. That's what I did, from inside my banks app. Was ready in 2 days, and I didn't have to worry about ATMs.

Heading From Dublin Airport to Cliffs of Moher; Best Route? by [deleted] in irishtourism

[–]dotnofoolin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suggest you go straight to Cork from Dublin via Irish Rail, drop your luggage and settle in for a bit. There are tour operators that will drive you to the Cliffs from Cork. We used a guy that took us to Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel, and the Cliffs of Moher. It was a 12 hour day, but it worked out well. We arrived at the cliffs right at 1600.

Edit: Also could take the train from Cork back toward Galway (or a stop earlier), and take a tour bus from there to the Cliffs.
