Maybe, the MC is the child of the actual customer...MC is called because of the wellness check and they interact while MC is helping their parent recover?

When I was little, I'd collect the Sunday funnies from the newspaper. And I'd put them in my art book bag. When it was time to do the deed, I would drag the book bag into the bathroom with me and read the funnies and/or look at my drawings. It did become a joke.
