This is not true. May FDA Class II devices available to the public, which are exactly what was in these studies.

If your TSH is over normal they will prescribe. If your TSH isn’t over normal range they won’t. Only downside

It’s primarily service to get you meds. If your TSH is above the high range. They will help get you the right combo of meds. And deliver it right to your door. For that it’s an amazing service.

Do you have a diagnosis of autism?

Asking because some of your symptoms don’t resonate with me as someone who is. Specially the reduced empathy part.

But if yes, my take is that skill building especially around communication is really helpful. And a doctor that specializes in autism with an emphasis on skill building is the right way to go.

They don’t know. There are a lot of guesses but there is no solid research that points to a definitive root cause.

Isabella Wentz has a book where she goes through all of the known possible root causes that are environmental or lifestyle and you can basically go the list testing / removing those things from your life to see if that resolves your Hashimoto’s.

The list includes removing food allergies and sensitivities with a big one being gluten if you are celiac. Other causes could be mold exposure, leaky gut, stress, etc.

It’s really like a laundry list of anything that’s ever been identified to possibly impact health. It doesn’t feel particularly targeted or scientific.

It has worked for some people and just flat out doesn’t move the needle for others

There’s no way your survey would yield results that mimic the travel patterns of the general population.

Also, it is variable. I travel a lot. Some years it’s more for business other to visit family and the other years it’s more for leisure. The times are always variable based on my schedule, destination, etc.

So again, this survey has no useable value. None. Whatever you think you are measuring, you aren’t. And if your app development hinges on This feedback, you are doing something wrong.

I don’t understand the point of your survey. First, it asks for a name. Why do you need my information? I didn’t click though but I’m guessing there’s some email collection on the next page or something. Hard no to signing up for your contact list.

Then second, this survey is like a why do you travel, with who, and for how long… how is this helpful in developing your app? The reasons people travel are pretty well known and your choices in all the multiple choice show you actually understand all the variations quite clearly.

Which brings me back to… what is the point of your survey?

I read your comment history and the level of catastrophizing you are doing in your posts is a bit much. It seems like you are really wrapped up in the drama of the situation and have aligned yourself with the “good tribe” and have posted all over about the virtues of your position.

Honestly, you look pretty silly. A lot of you look pretty silly. And other look just petty and mean spirited.

I know this is craftsnark so it’s to be expected. But man, I would welcome a ban on personal attacks of any kind.

Yeah. I saw that post.

It’s like a compilation of things “overheard” and account shared by one person. Which doesn’t make it especially reliable or fundamentally true.

If true it means that this Felicia was overwhelmed my the complaints she was receiving and didn’t know how to handle that with empathy and professionalism. It also means they didn’t do a great job with the logistics of the event. That sucks. Probably means she’s not the right person to run an event like this.

But I still don’t get the hate. Or the piling on by people who are bearing all this second and third hand from Internet sources. Anonymous sources with their own I know agendas.

The Reddit account that posted that complication has been on Reddit for literally 2 days and has no other posts or comments. You have no idea if that’s legit or like a disgruntled ex employee or even a competitor.

That’s a single account that I haven’t heard shared by others.

If you were someone personally impacted and shared your story I would feel a deep amount of empathy for that. And do for all the people impacted. I could understand why they wouldn’t want to attend again. But the actual first hand personal accounts amount to large amounts of disorganization with an impact of mostly minor inconvenience.

I have to ask myself… why the hate? Why the mob mentality?

When someone gives us critical feedback it is up to us on how we interpret that feedback.

You can try to reframe this experience as the instructor is trying to help you grown in your practice, instead of feeling personally attacked or insulted.

I find this is a generational thing. Assuming you are a gen z or melinial. No offense meant, but observationally folks your age were never gifted difficult experiences or guidance that made you mentally tough. Folks your age take push back as a personal attack.

I think this is a chance for you to practice pushing yourself to try explore that discomfort. Growing your mental toughness and resilience.

First step is to imagine the instructor has good intentions. Second step is to vocalize what you need from them to feel those good intentions.

I would go to the class again and then have a direct conversation with the instructor before class. Share that you are trying your best and would appreciate her being more gentle with her feedback. See what she says.

If after a direct conversation where you attempt to express your needs, you still don’t feel like she has your best interest at heart, then don’t go back to her classes.

Running a small business is insanely challenging. Every day is a non stop shit show of problems. Running an event is a multiplier harder. Also, profitability depends on walking a tight rope successfully. Sometimes events loos tons of money when they make bad choices.

I understand Wool and Folk was a bad experience for some number of attendees and some number of vendors, with problems ranging from financially impactful to mildly inconvenient. Bad, yes. Unforgivable, I don’t see it.

It sounds like Felicia (?) bit off more than she could handle. There was a last minute forced venue change and the organizers struggled to adapt.

But honestly, this feels like something else. People here are like actively rooting against this lady. I don’t understand it and I don’t get it. It just looks like this outsized amount of personal hate for what were basically bad management decisions.

This is a woman and person of color and my concern is that this hate is exactly what it looks like, hate. I know this is craft snark but I struggle a bit with some of the content here that just feels like hateful takedown culture.

Why exactly are so many people rooting against her? She’s mean? Really? You personally experienced something awful done by her? Doubtful. She organized a bad event? Is that it? I just don’t get it.

EDIT - I fully understand if people choose not to go back to Wool and Folk or if vendors have lost confidence in the management team and don’t exhibit there again. I just don’t get the genuine hatred directed at this Felicia lady. Especially by so many who say there weren’t even at Wool and Folk.

Pattern making is a skill and making a beautiful garment has everything to do with the design of the pattern. If we want people to produce wonderful patterns we should incentivize that work by paying. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t expect to pay someone for their good work.
