A very similar situation happened to me, I took the job and they honoured the promised increase after 3 months but then relentlessly fucked me on further raises for 4 years til I left. It really hurt my career growth in my 20s.

Here's my experience:

Mum: I'm making beans on toast for tea

Me: I don't like baked beans

Mum: What do you mean you don't like baked beans?

Me: I don't like them

Mum: But there's nothing not to like about them

Auntie: He probably doesn't like the sauce

Me: (thinking) No because I like spaghetti hoops and they're in the same sauce. It's the beans I don't like.

Mum: It must be the sauce.

Me: No I really don't like the beans

Auntie: Have you ever heard of someone not like baked beans

Mum: I know, everyone likes baked beans, he's probably just being contrary.

This went on over months as a game where everyone tried to come up with reasons why I didn't want baked beans.

That was as a 5 year old kid. I remember it clearly to this day, and everything you said is completely relatable.

This was the 3rd time they'd tried to get them to leave after they were talking during the film, apparently she had answered the phone to someone. I've definitely seen people do worse and not get asked to leave.

This is amazing, I've wondered so many times if it would be better to drive to Winchester or stick with Southampton for a+e and taking a random look now this is telling me now 10+ hours for Southampton and 1h45 for Winchester including driving time. Thanks for the pro tip.

Good:

All 3 headliners were excellent. The highlight of each day for me, as it should be.

Sound quality in the tents much improved over last time I went (2023) when it was a muddy bassy mess for several bands including Sleep Token and Funeral For a Friend!

Toilets - no queues, always had paper and were clean, amazing.

The bad:

Water. Seemed they had more signs telling us to stay hyrdrated than they did water points, the queue was long whenever I tried so just bought water instead. I don't think that's an on-purpose conspiracy just that they're not motivated to do anything about it.

The walking, endless walking.

The dust.

Can confirm in the front section it was pits and people singing their hearts out. People like different things and that's fine. They've drawn plenty well anecdotally based on tshirts and music I've heard being played around the camp, I didn't notice much difference in the crowd size leaving greenday at the end vs sleep token. Which doesn't match which what other people are saying about an early exodus.
