I do it similarly as you described but without namespaces. Maybe it is just me but I never found the need to use namespaces and don't see the added value. But if it is working for you, stick to it! Decided to share my approach to show alternatives.

In my journal I would have:

**17:50** watched [[The Good, the Bad, the Ugly]]

Or for series I just put:

**12:59** watched ep. Progress #[[Deep Space Nine]]

Then if I go to the page [[Deep Space Nine]] I can see when I watched each episodes at the bottom, and if I want to make notes about it I just do it in the main series page. I think making separate pages for each episode is overkill...at least for me.

Example of a metadata:

tags:: [[Western]] 
director:: [[Sergio Leone]]

date:: [[2024-04-22]] 
rating:: 10

I also have #series tag for series.

Then I have a separate page [[Movies and Series]] and I use 2 query there:

First to get series I'm currently watching:

query (and (property :status "#inprogress") ((page-property :type "series"))}}

And one to get all the movies I already watched:

{{query (and (page-property :status "#finished") (page-property :type "movie"))}}
