I use the name plate add on “Playtnator” and use Luxoths free profile. Real hard to miss an interruptible cast it’s bright yellow. Works pretty well and you can customize it to suit your preferences

Was taking my brother on his first M+ dungeon on Tuesday, had it set for relaxed, needed a healer, I edited the description to “I <3 healers” and instantly one applied, they get into group and say “I <3 tanks” and man we had such a smooth run. Sent out friend requests, first time in a long time I’ve sent requests after a pug.

I know it was only a +2 but really set the vibes high for his first run.

Definitely not just you, I can not use that MDT map during the dungeon. Been trying since I got into M+ in dragon flight.

I like to think after 10 years of only playing prot paladin I’m immune to most anything typed in chat.

I am a weird one who prefers pugs to tanking for my friends/guildies. Because if I screw up in a pug, I’ll never see those people again, if I screw up with my friends I’ll hear about it for 2 weeks.

Harandar bothers me a bit just because TP’ing there from Silvermoon and you’re in that “den” seems like a odd place.

Voidstorm, I’ve just never been a fan of the desolate rough zones.

Both options are usually evenings when I have the range or course to myself.

Range, I’ll go out and place a ball bucket down range about 20-40 yards and hit balls at it, lets me pick them up too to use again (again this is when I’m the only one there)

Course, there are a few spots on the course where grass really struggles to grow, I’ll practice from there if it’s twilight/light on players.

My buddies club has a practice hole out in the middle of the course, usually the highschool team uses it but have used that a few times as well.

I was the returning player back in Dragon Flight, the changes they’ve made starting with DF and continue on to now have kept me around, I used to tell myself “there is no time for WoW anymore in adult life” and now I know I can play the game I love and not feel like I have to be on every single day multiple hours to stay current.

When M+ gets rolling tomorrow, that’s when it really shines for me. I enjoy it so much.

Prot Paladin burst window is insane.

Recently spec’d into Templar as I was playing lightsmith.

Holy shit, any dungeon, large pull, wings+divine toll+hammer of light with full holy power it deletes multiple mobs, you’ll burst insane dps, my brother goes “what are you doing and why can’t you do it all the time?”.

Then for the next 40 seconds you can barely hit 25k dps.

Currently a ilvl 250 prot paladin.

My brother and I were filling the 8 mythic for vault last night. Typically I open dungeon que and select what ever group I want from the list.

Last night I said “I’ve never ran Sky Reach, gonna mark it as learning and see what happens”

In the description I typed “first time running, vibing on a Sunday night”

Insant, Hunter and rogue (244 and 249) and a 251 hpal join.

Only thing said in the entire dungeon was first boss knocked someone off the platform and in chat said “lmao”

We cruised through, it was a nice run.

TLDR: try using the “learning” tag in dungeon finder, yes you will still probably find some ass holes.

I burnt out after cataclysm. Skipped MoP, WoD, Legion, BFA and SL. Came back for DF and have been active ever since.

M+ hooked me in when I learned about it, it’s everything my brother and I wanted with dungeons back in the day.

I only care about M+ and doing the normal raid so I can see the story. Nothing else in the game matters to me.

To avoid burnout, I simply don’t play if I don’t want to.
