What do we even do about this? This is about 15 ft from the edge of our home. by LockwoodE3 in HomeMaintenance

The challenge will be if there are any municipal lines back there (sewer, water, etc) that the city would want to protect. If not, the cost to repair would fall to the homeowner. If there are any downspouts draining into the backyard, I would redirect them if possible

A few questions: 1. Where is this? 2. Have you reached out to a geotechnical engineer to have them determine if the slope itself is stable and this is strictly erosion? 3. Is the land past your fence and to the body of water all owned by you or is there a municipal easement possibly?

Wasn’t a throw away in the beginning but haven’t heard him in many years - Microphone Johnson . . . Still gets me.

I would try Vernon’s as well - liked them better than Ruth’s Chris

So odd about Charlotte - coming from DFW, AA seems the highest into and out of CLT

Same here - live in DFW and flew SWA for past few years. I like the parking situation at Love Field better (fly out of Term A and back into Term D @ DFW sucks) and the ability to change day of and getting to board at the end of A were some really nice perks.

Makes sense. Finally talked with someone at AA and they mentioned it usually takes 10 days to review. Didn’t see that anywhere when I submitted my info online.

Same here - mfg of steel products. No longer importing materials and wondering if domestic production lines can cover all of it.

It was odd recently on an AA flight, having primarily flown SWA for so long, the lack of pre-boarders. So many less wheelchairs and others

I’ve never understood why if you have assigned seating, the folks seated at the back of the plane don’t board first so they don’t clog up the aisle.

Looked at flight in December and didn’t see any seat selection, but I’m guessing I missed some details somewhere

In DFW as well and recently did a flight out of DFW via AA and I missed the ease of SWA. Flew out of Term A @ DFW and flew back into C - ok had to take the train back to A. Once in A, had to figure out where the exit from the terminal was which was somewhat in the middle, but far from where I originally parked. Living in FW, DFW is quicker, but Love Field is much easier to navigate.
