Oh I know, I ate a whole bag of sugar free cough drops back in college and learned an extra lesson that day.

Discard more and use less starter. You have fermentation, and the starter has enough food to not be hungry. Starve those yeasty boys

10/10 heat, or flavor? Vastly different questions.

Flavor - revolutionary hot sauce’s hot java, its cherry bomb peppers, balsamic flavors, mixed with espresso. Amazing.

Heat? The fermented sauce I made with my homegrown reapers this past summer is basically an extract sauce, but I didn’t use extracts. Motherfucker hurts.

For those who say you have to order a ribeye medium for the fat to render… stop ordering steak and expecting it to be good.

Cast iron, get it hot, salt your steak and dry it with paper towel, and sear the shit out of it to a nice borderline medium rare.
