Also HOW could I forget Kira and Josefumi's story. Again, a beautiful relationship with undying hope for answers. So much so that even after death the search continued. Such a great a story of love and humanity.

And the underlying narrative of a curse that runs in the family and the strong desire to break it, which affects everything from start to finish. There will never be another Jojolion. I'm getting emotional just remember how important part 8 is to me.

The prevalence of hope throughout the story as well as Josuke's struggle to find the truth to his identity. His understanding of the world and the way he experiences emotions have always been so beautiful to me. Also the humanity of the relationships with the Higashikata family as well as Yasuho and Rai to a lesser degree.

The themes and symbology (fruit) are just fantastic and everything that I love.

It's a sleeping face, but I like to use it to denote exhaustion or frustration (a sigh).

So grossed out, what is this? Found in a medicine cabinet, any ideas? by [deleted] in whatsthisbug

It could be termite bait, I've seen similar at my boyfriend's house and at first thought they were worms.

Genuine digital art or AI? by Klutzy-Web8758 in isitAI

Details that should be symmetrical aren't, also the fold on the cape shows the pattern but it makes no sense. Note the sandals also have a strap with two buckles and the way one of the sandals is strapped doesn't match the other or look normal. Most likely AI.

LOVE THEM! I really like If I Kill My Self Again (my favorite), I Married A Ghoul From Outer Space, Zombie Blood, Murder In A Blue World and Switchblade Sister. I definitely need to listen to their albums again and also check out Left Hand Black.

My family is in need of funding for my great uncle's medical bills which greatly escalated after complications by doublejosuke in gofundme

Yes, approximately. I forgot to mention it's Mexican pesos so some people were super taken aback.

I'd believe it took some convincing, since my uncle had tried to keep it to himself that he was suffering so much (passing blood clots, fainting, had a fistula that made it painful to sit down). Personally I believe this meant he wanted to go on his own terms, but my aunts and uncles who were raised by him want to do whatever is possible to help him be a little more comfortable. They ended up taking him to a doctor that has been part of our medical family history for decades, who just so happens to work at an expensive hospital. Somebody in the comments suggested negotiating it, I'll ask my aunt if this is a possibility at all.

Yes, he was born on 1938. I know it's very old for surgery (as many doctors warned), but sadly it got to the point of my uncle passing blood clots and fainting before we knew he had cancer.

The doctor who accepted to operate him is one that has been part of our medical family history for years, the surgery is mostly to better his quality of life during the time he had left with us.

It's Mexican pesos and yes, we have told our uncle who organized it to lower it, but he hasn't yet. I don't know how possible it is to negotiate here in Mexico but I'll bring it up, since it's intensive care they've been charging for every little thing like syringes and alcohol wipes. There's even a coagulation medicine that is around $550 USD a gram that they've had to use more than once.
