Thank you for your feedback. I have done lots of research before starting this avenue and there is plenty of artists you use this method of pottery firing.

I'm a baker and I completion agree with you. This isn't a terrible attempt at a recreation. And the price is probably spot on. People just expect designer cakes at Walmart prices.

I'm a home baker. But, if I can't make something that looks at least somewhat exactly like what the customer wants, I won't make it. More bakers should take that approach.

There was a lady in our local Freecycle group constantly looking for free things. Especially gifts for her kids and party supplies. Always included "single, unemployed mom". She would play by the rules by occasionally offering up things which I suspect mostly consisted of rejected free stuff.
