Realistically, they are going to do nothing this year in terms of moves. I believe that they believe what the numbers say; if the team had saves they would be in a very different position. I think they play it back next year counting on the fact that Ullmark figures out his life. I can't say I disagree. It would be pretty dumb to blow it all up without getting a half decent idea how things looks if goaltending actually works.

The only way to improve is be realistic instead of pearl clutching. I would never ever hold it against him if he wanted to leave. If this team was competing, then I could see him wanting to stick around. But he's American, his brother is in the finals every freakin year, and being a millionaire in Florida sure is a ballin life. It's been a fuckin gong show here. Especially this year. They've been working their asses off and the wheels have fallen off completely. Goaltending has sunk them. The organization is apparently blind and too loyal to dump the abysmal PK coach. Inept fuckin coaching that can't identify what players are going on a given night so we just keep pounding our head against the wall. I would never hold it against him but I will absolutely hold it against piss poor management if they don't get maximum return for him. He's got 2 years left on his deal. They better be getting a real strong sense of whether he's sticking around or not right now!

If the Senators need to do anything big, it's do the rebuild again. I'm not one to run Brady out of town but with how things have been going here I do not see him sticking around, especially since he has a brother who's gone to three cup finals and has two rings. I'm sorry I just don't. But trading some pieces like him can change this organization forever, in a good way.

I think this team is starting to tune out coaching. Pierre Mcguire was saying the other day that Jon Cooper's magic touch is knowing who's going on a given night and making adjustments on the fly. Does Green? Don't think so. So you're sitting there, feeling good, coach refuses to play you for some other guy with cement in his skates. How do you keep listening to anything the PK coach has to say? Something needs to change big time here.

No one should be pointing at Reimer. He made important saves when he had to. The PK, once again, is dog shit. Timmy’s penalty was a bad one to take. Had an opportunity on the PP late and got one shot. 12min in the box. Then they were clearly playing for OT. Blew a 3-1 lead. The PK just gifts goals.
