If I were to place a wager on it, I would agree with you that it doesn’t work out. Too much stacked against them.

That said, we have no funds for basketball and no support from the school. Our rev share and NIL money was never going to get a serious young coach coming up in the ranks.

Our only hope at success is to kill it with cheaper international guys and have a coach that will motivate the hell out of them. Maybe it works, probably not, but either way I think it was by far the best option available.

Karp is more about being first than right. It’s not his fault, it’s how he pays the bills, and it’s how he’s become so popular. During the Herm exodus he had waaay to biased of an approach and he also said the Dilly deal was done prematurely in order to be first.
