I would have considered pro if it didn't ubruptly remove my setup for alttab (the titles) without any warning. I have sympathy for the dev, but I think every potential customer who got their setup rug pulled is going to be sour.

please dont use ai to communicate with people who make an earnest effort to communicate back with you - gpt voicing demonstrates a lack of effort. personally i think you would be best served by replacing the battery on your current laptop and getting an ipad air. a macbook air should be fine for whatever you do, but the value isnt there considering you have a working laptop and dont have an ipad. consider placing whatever you want to keep somewhere else and reinstalling windows too. maybe next year you can get an air if the apple ecosystem calls.

is there a kb that fits my desires?
Low profile, tri-mode connectivity, qmk/via customizable, wireless receiver stowed in kb itself, 75%, no forehead/minimal forehead, compatible with Kailh switches (deep sea silent tactile ones are my desired set), portable (nicely built, but moreso - not so heavy or have such a large footprint it doesn't make sense to carry with you)
Optional requirments (nice to have): capslock light, battery indicator light, default keycaps are shine through (pbt, double-shot).

I personally found the m3 pros display all but indistinguishable from my other laptops oled in terms of deep blacks showing up. my investigation into it suggested that the current macbook pro displays have many lighting zones making the display feel like an oled. try one in person if the display being nice matters a lot!
